14 Hacks To Help Us Become Kitchen Masters

I have to admit I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen. Making my own food is something I enjoy and do quite often. But it is time-consuming, that's for sure.

So I'm always on the lookout for easier and quicker ways to get the job done. If you're like me, I'm sure these helpful kitchen hacks will come in handy.

1. This Fridge Hack

How do you easily access stuff at the back of your fridge? No worries, I've got you covered. All you need to do is get yourself a lazy Susan, and it's never been easier than that.

2. This Bread Crumb Hack

What happens when you're out of bread crumbs? No problem, mate. Just grab a toasted piece of bread and grate some right on the dish you're making, and voilĂ ! Why haven't I thought of that?

13. This Homemade Chicken Shawarma Idea

One of my favorite dishes is chicken shawarma. But how do you make one at home, huh? You can easily create a meat cone in your kitchen with a few skewers stuck into half an onion! OMG, wow!

4. This Indoor S'mores Idea

Have you ever made indoor s'mores? We did that once over the stovetop, but I have to admit I like this idea better. Just put them on skewers and place them over the toaster. Nice!

5. This Egg Cooking Hack

If you find that your eggs are sticking to your lightly oiled pan, instead of adding more oil, try waiting for your pan to cool down before trying to remove the eggs. Oh, I didn't know that.

6. This Grilled Cheese Warming Hack

If you're ever in a pinch and need to warm up your grilled cheese sandwich, get a load of this idea. Cover it in foil and put the iron over it. The sandwich should be warmed up in about five minutes, ha, ha!

7. This Frying Hack

Sometimes your food is ready before you can eat it. So, put a lid on that cast iron pan even if it doesn't fit. It can still keep your veggies warm. You can also do this while frying things that often splash oil around.

8. This Salmon Grilling Tip

I love grilled salmon, but I admit it's a pain to cook it. How do you get it not to stick? Well, apparently, putting sliced lemons underneath it will do the trick. Oh, I have to try that.

9. This Ice Cream Sandwich Tip

Who here loves making ice cream sandwiches? But it's hard to get the ice cream out of that tub, right? So just slice right through the pint, peel the paper off, and you've got perfect ice cream rounds. Amazing!

10. This Burger Hack

I love eating a homemade burger as much as the next person, but I don't like when my ingredients start to fall out. A good trick is to wrap lettuce around the side of the sandwich to keep it all in place.

11. This Tornado Omelette Trick

Who here loves eating eggs? They're so good and versatile, huh? Here's a cool idea for a dish. Just use some chopsticks to hold beaten eggs in place while turning the pan to create a tornado omelette.

12. This Chopping Board Cleaning Tip

Don't you hate it when your chopping boards get all stained? Did you know you can actually use direct sunlight to remove food stains from silicone cutting boards/kitchen utensils? This trick works for plastic Tupperware, too. Wow!

13. This Egg Peeling Hack

Who here loves boiled eggs? They're my favorite, but I can't stand peeling them. However, this lady came out with the funniest hack, and you've got to see it. Just pop it, pinch it, and blow it. Got it?

14. This Reminder Hack

One Reddit user suggested adding a bit of food coloring to your eggs when you boil them. This way, you'll be able to tell which eggs are cooked versus uncooked in your fridge.

Oh my goodness, I love all these kitchen hacks.

If there's something I can do to speed up my cooking, I'm all for it. How about you, huh? Do you have any tips of your own? If you do, please share them below.
