If you were granted one wish , what would it be?
A 13-year-old Mississippi boy was granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charitable cause that grants wishes to children with a critical illness.

Incredibly, the boy didn’t wish for something for himself, but went with a far more altruistic choice.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been doing this for years.
The wishes often come in the form of trips to Disneyland or meeting a celebrity, but 13-year-old Abraham Olagbegi wanted something different.
Abraham has a rare blood disease. His prognosis at this point looks pretty good, but the severity of the disease qualified him for a wish.
Abraham wished to feed the hungry.
His wish didn’t come from nowhere, as Abraham and his mom Miriam have a history of providing food and care to the homeless people of Jackson, Mississippi.
So when Abraham was informed that he was being granted one wish, he knew exactly what to do with it.
Abraham told his mom about his plan.
“I remember we were coming home from one of his doctor appointments and he said, ‘Mom, I thought about it, and I really want to feed the homeless,'” Abraham’s mom Miriam told CBS.
This is definitely what he wanted.
Even though Abraham and his mom are charitable people, Miriam still asked her son if he was sure.
“I said, ‘Are you sure, Abraham?’ You could do a lot. You sure you don’t want a PlayStation?”
With the help of Make-A-Wish, Abraham and his mom fed around 80 homeless people.
They set up shop in a park in Jackson back in September. In addition to the 80 or so people who were given meals, the mission will continue. Make-A-Wish says it’ll continue feeding the homeless population of Jackson every month until next August.
Abraham did get some swag, too.
While his only wish was to feed the homeless, it feels appropriate that Abraham should get some kind of gift. To that end, Make-A-Wish did provide him with everything he needs to start a YouTube channel: a ring light, microphone, and laptop.
We’re excited to see what Abraham will do next.
While his YouTube channel hasn’t started up yet, Abraham says he plans to start a non-profit charity in the near future. With his prognosis looking positive, Abraham could be a difference maker in his community for years to come.
It’s a stunningly selfless move.
“We’re just very excited to be able to continue on this endeavour,” proud mom Miriam said. “If I was out there on the streets, homeless, I would want somebody at some point to think of me and to do something special for me.”
Bravo, Abraham.
“When the homeless people get the plate, some of them would come back and sing to us and thank us,” Abraham said. “And it just really feels good, it warms our hearts, and my parents always taught us that it’s a blessing to be a blessing.”
