Don’t you find that an element of surprise can be very rewarding? Oh, yeah, that’s right. For me, it takes me back to my childhood and all the wonderful things I used to discover . So now, as an adult, I still retain that sense of wonder.
That’s why I’m always so intrigued when I uncover something new. These folks did just that and I, for one, am glad they shared it online with all of us. Check it out.
1. This Cooking Surprise
“Toasting some sesame seeds and when I stopped swirling the pan and Pac-Man appeared.”
Ha, ha, ha. I can totally see what they mean. Anyone who’s a gamer would get such a kick out of that. I bet it was annoying to have to get rid of that. But, oh well. Hopefully, it can form like this next time.
2. These Fruits
Oh my goodness, aren’t you wondering what this is? Well, it’s actually conjoined twin cantaloupes that somebody found at the farmers market. Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that. And now I’m craving a cantaloupe. That’s right.
3. This Kitchen Rag
My, oh, my — check this out. Somebody ate cherry tomatoes and happened to wipe their hands on this rag. A few days later they came back to it, and this is what they found. Sprouts are growing inside of the rag. I never knew it could happen like that.
4. This Snow Alligator
We’re used to seeing people build a snowman after a storm but have you ever seen an alligator? I can’t say that I have. But now that I see it, I think it’s a brilliant idea. What do you think? Are you into it or not?
5. This Plant’s Reflection
If you think you see a bird here, you would be wrong, my friend. It’s actually just a reflection of the fiddle plant in the window itself. I love how neat this looks here. Do you agree with me?
6. This Faucet
“The sun shining through the candleholder on my windowsill made it look like the water coming out of my faucet was red.’
This is such a cool phenomenon, huh? I totally dig when cool things like this happen at random.
7. This Blister
“Splitting wood and wedding band gave me a blood blister in the shape of a love heart.”
Oh, how sweet is that? I mean, if you’re going to get a blister it better look like that. Am I right? At least the pain of it can put a smile on your face.
8. This Toilet
Check this out: I can honestly say I’ve never seen a toilet shaped like that. That’s some futuristic stuff, huh? Now that I have seen one, I want it for our house, ha, ha. How about you?
9. This Ice Formation
What do you think this is, huh? Well, it’s ice formation somebody found on their car. It’s so cool how all of it surrounded one single leaf. I’m so happy this person was able to capture this awesome phenomenon.
10. This Cool Coincidence
“My Jeep had 222,222 miles on 2/2/22.”
Oh my, how cool is that? Don’t you love it when awesome coincidences like these happen to you or what? I would love to know whether you’ve experienced something like this before.
11. This Flower Tree
What have we got here? Can you believe the number of flowers that are growing on this tree attached to a house? I would love to have this on my property someday.
12. This Moisturizer
“My moisturizer came out looking like a fish with gills and everything.”
Ha, ha, that is so cool, right? I love how it really does look like a fish. What are the odds of that? I would love to know that. Are you digging this as much as I am?
13. This Shelf Cloud
Somebody spotted this interesting shelf cloud. Apparently, these are completely harmless by themselves. However, if you see one, it might actually be an indicator of an upcoming storm. So make sure you keep that in mind.
14. These Horses
“These 5 horses always alternate dark/light.”
Oh my goodnes, I wouldn’t have noticed that if this person didn’t point it out. That is crazy. Am I right? How do they know they’re doing that? It must be something to see, huh?
15. This Light Phenomenon
Somebody noticed this strange light phenomenon outside their window, and they wondered what it was. As it turns out, it’s a sun pillar or light pillar created when cold temperatures and crystals in the air refract light upward. Oh, wow!
16. This Cityscape Reflection
“I looked over the edge of an NYC skyscraper and saw a reflection that looked like another dimension.”
Wow, how amazing is that? This is totally tripping me out. It’s like a scene from The Matrix or something like that. What a stunning photo capture, huh? I love that.
17. This Black Stop Sign
Holy moly! Have you ever seen a black stop sign? I definitely have not. It does make me feel a bit weird. Apparently, it goes against your schema of what signs should be, therefore causing something called cognitive dissonance. I can see that happening.
18. These Lenses
So what’s unusual about these glasses here? Well, apparently there are numbers on these lenses that aren’t visible to the eye. But you can see them in the reflection. How neat is that? I love it.
I’m so intrigued by cool pictures like these.
I think it’s super fantastic to witness something out of the ordinary. I don’t know about you, but it definitely brightens my day a little bit. Hopefully, I’ll be able to find many interesting finds like these.
