I have to be honest, I don’t go out for fast food that often. But when I smell those McDonald’s fries, I’m usually hooked, ha, ha. Do you get what I’m saying?

Oh my gosh, I didn’t know that. That’s a fabulous idea, no? Were you aware of this?
Know When To Come For Fresh Food
“If you want something fresh, after 10 or 11 o’clock, everything is cook-to-order. So, if you want fresh, come later.”
Ah, that’s why everything tastes a bit stale during the morning rush. Now that I know that, I will opt to get food from McDonald’s later in the morning.
Get The Quarter Pounder
Speaking of fresh food, there is something that’s always made fresh. And that is a quarter pounder. Apparently, it’s in a fridge and not frozen. The employees drop it in every time they get an order. So, if you want something fresh, order a quarter pounder.
Ask For An Ice Cream Cone
“The cone is significantly less expensive than a sundae. So if you want a sundae, get a cone, and ask for it in a cup. It’s less money for the same amount of ice cream, and you get a cone.”
Aha! I like that idea.
There Is No ‘Secret Menu’
“The secret menu doesn’t exist. The only ‘secret’ is that you can customize any item on the menu, and we’ll do it.”
Good to know. I realize a lot of places have “secret menus,” and I’m glad McDonald’s doesn’t do it that way.
Chances Are, The Ice Cream Machine Isn’t Broken
“99.9% of the time, the ice cream machine is not broken. There are three reasons why we tell you it’s broken. One: It’s being cleaned. It’s cleaned on the clock. Two: It’s in Heat Mode, so for whatever reason, the ice cream is hot in there. Three: If we’re extremely busy, and we’re understaffed, and we’re backed up with cars, a lot of the time, we’ll just not serve ice cream until the rush is over.”
OMG, I feel like I’ve been lied to, ha, ha.
The ‘No Salt” Hack
“That life hack ‘Get a fry with no salt. Just ask for salt at the window. You’ll get a fry made fresh.’ It’s bulls***. First of all, you can just ask for the fry made fresh, and they’ll make it fresh.”
Okay, I’ve used this hack before and I can see them making the fries from scratch. So I don’t know if I believe that and I’m sticking to my guns, ha, ha.
