Last week, Chris Pratt and his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, were photographed on a beach in Santa Barbara, California.
While the newlyweds looked like they were having a great time, fans were more focused on Chris' "dad bod".
He tied and Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot back in June.
This is the most accurate comparison of any two things I've ever seen.
Dad joke level: 100.
His so-called "dad bod" was stealing the show.
True Chris Pratt fans actually look forward to it happening. It's very reminiscent of his character from Parks and Rec.
Crazy, right?
Some people harshly and unnecessarily criticized Chris for packing on a few pounds — even though, it's really not that big of a deal.
This is rude.
Especially considering we already know he's going to snap back into shape for his next movie role.
Let's be honest. When people get into happy relationships, they tend to put on a couple of pounds.
It's called relationship-gut and it can happen to anyone.
Let the man enjoy his life.
He seems happy — so, I'm sure the last thing he's worried about is what complete strangers on the internet think of his body.
He's only human. Weight fluctuates. Get over it, people!
I highly doubt she's force-feeding him so that other women don't check him out.
He's a movie star — women and men alike are going to check him out regardless.
And fortunately, there were many fans who loved it.
For obvious reasons.
If this is what the world is considering to be a "dad bod" nowadays, then I can say with absolute certainty that I have a mom bod.
There are a ton of reasons why someone might not look as muscular as usual.
He was sitting down in a kayak — that isn't anybody's most flattering angle. Cut him some slack.
He may have not surpassed the standards of the internet trolls, but he looks like he's living his best life, so he probably doesn't care.
Remember when internet strangers were calling Jason Momoa out for his dad bod?
So it's time to accept that maybe a "dad bod" is actually just a normal, healthy body?
Or at the very least, find a way to turn this into another dad joke. Time will tell!
Are people being too hard on him? Should this even considered a dad bod?
