Steve Buscemi Dressed Up As His Own Meme For Halloween

Over the course of his career, Steve Buscemi has worn many hats. He's a director, a producer, as well as one of the most celebrated and respected actors on the planet.

This year, he decided to go the extra mile for costume ideas. And after careful thought and deliberation — Steve decided to dress up as his own meme for Halloween!

On a night where ghosts and goblins run amuck, anything can happen! You might see your favorite comic book character or if you're lucky — your favorite celebrity (dressed up as your favorite meme) handing out candy!

That's precisely what these trick-or-treaters experienced after unknowingly knocking on Steve Buscemi's door.

In case you've been living on Mars, in a cave, with your fingers in your ears for the last three decades — Steve Buscemi is one of the most celebrated actors in Hollywood.

Steve got his big break playing Mr. Pink in Quentin Tarantino's 'Reservoir Dogs'.

This classic crime caper has gone on to receive one of the biggest cult followings of any of Tarantino's films. It's also the role that begat Steve's career-long affair with Joel and Ethan Coen.

Over the years, Steve has also appeared in several TV dramas and comedies.

Few actors are both the summer and the winter, but Steve pulls it off nicely. He's just as comfortable in slow-burn dramas like Boardwalk Empire as he is comedy hits, such as Billy Madison and Mr. Deeds.

But of all Steve's iconic roles, he's perhaps best remembered for portraying Len Wosniak on '30 Rock'.

Len worked as a private investigator and was occasionally hired by Jack Donaghy on various occasions. During one such episode, Len tries to disguise himself as a student in order to infiltrate a local high school.

It was here that the "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?" meme was born!

The picture of Steve carrying a skateboard over his shoulder, while wearing a red backward cap spread like wildfire. In no time at all, it became one of the most popular memes on the internet.

As a way of paying homage to his own social media legend, Steve decided to dress up as Len for Halloween.

Steve recreated the costume in expert fashion. Not a single detail was missing or out of place. The photos have the internet reeling, and it's unquestionably one of the better celebrity Halloween costumes of the decade.

Any person with the kind of bank roll that Steve has could easily spend thousands on a costume without batting an eye.

It takes a very self-aware and ingenious comedic mind to be able to make something so simple be so impactful at the same time.

Steve happily handed out candy to the neighborhood and took pictures with any fan who requested a photo.

The fact that Steve was willing to go through all the trouble of putting himself out there, solely for the enjoyment of his fans, speaks volumes about his character.

Ironically, some of Steve's younger fans recognized him — but not from '30 Rock'.

13-year-old Stella Wexler Rush just so happens to be a huge fan of Steve's new show Miracle Workers. Since she was only just born when Season 2 of 30 Rock aired, she didn't put it together at first.

“He told us that we couldn’t take a photo with him unless we guessed who he was supposed to be,” Stella told 'The New York Post'.

"So we guessed … and then three of my friends got a picture,” the young girl said. "There were other people getting candy, but if anyone else recognized him, they didn’t say anything,”

Does this mean that we could see Steve dress up as Mr. Pink or 'Crazy Eyes' next year!? Only time will tell.
