Getting older is something not many women look forward to. There are horror stories of how our bodies begin to ache, we have hot flashes, and everything starts to sag. But, there are some things that are, apparently, really great as you get older . Thanks to these lovely ladies, we have a lot to look forward to as we age (gracefully).
All the good things in life.

The photos you were forced into.
Many times, we hate taking photos that we don’t want to be in, but our friends beg and force us into them to commemorate moments. Some say as they get older, they appreciate looking back on them, even if they were forced.
Health.
“I’m almost 30 and the worst disease I ever had is stomach flu… I didn’t appreciate it that much when I was younger because no one is really expecting to be sick in that age, but now when plenty of my peers are actually getting serious issues, I appreciate my health more than ever.” -Tyelde
Waking up early.
Some say that as a kid, they hated being up early. Especially in our early 20s, we don’t want to be up before the sun. Now, as adults, many say waking up early means being productive and they love it.
Having a small, really great group of friends.

Peace and quiet.
While some hate the silence, scthoma4 says that as she’s gotten older, she appreciates having quiet time where they can just do nothing and be alone. Sometimes, you take it for granted.
Having independence.
“I have legs that work and I can walk/run anywhere, I have a car that increases my freedom, i have a job I don’t hate which makes me able to afford my apartment while I’m at uni.. I often stop and feel so thankful and lucky to have these things” -daggypeas
Candles.
quirkyhermit says that candles are something they’ve learned to really appreciate as she’s gotten older. Candles can change an entire mood and vibe of a room depending on the smell. You can go from sexy to chill in one candle change.
Having parents who cared.
“My parents. Their hard work, unconditional love, and how much I could trust them. Especially now that I am a parent myself.
I have met people through the years that I am in shock to know how their parents treat them or things their parents did. Still amazes me how some parents can be so selfish, abusive, and toxic to their own children.” -bullet_maiden
When people are just nice.
768587986543 says that eventually, you start to appreciate when people are really nice to you or nice in general. In life, people can be mean and cruel, so having nice people around can change your day.
A really good, deep conversation.

Being genuinely loved.

Having a financial advisor.
