Robert Irwin Is On TikTok And Fans Are Pointing Out All The Ways He's Like His Dad

TikTok is quickly becoming the most popular social media platform on the internet. This is thanks in no small part to the slew of celebrities creating new accounts every day.

One of the most recent and noteworthy users as of late is Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin. Since creating his account, fans are now pointing out all the ways in which Robert is just like his dad.

Robert Irwin is the oldest son of the late Steve Irwin — better known to the world as *The Crocodile Hunter*.

Steve Irwin was an animal lover, a conservationist, a father, and of course — one of the greatest TV personalities of all time. He hosted The Crocodile Hunter for years and helped to educate the world on the animals he loved so much.

Back in 2006, Steve tragically lost his life in a freak accident involving a wild sting ray.

While filming an underwater scene for a documentary film, Steve was attacked by a giant frightened stingray. Its barbed tail pierced through his chest and punctured his heart. Despite having medical crews on-site, Steve bled out in a matter of minutes.

Since then, Robert Irwin has grown up and carries on the great legacy that his father left behind.

Robert, along with his mother and sister, are the new faces of The Australian Zoo. It's more than likely that you've seen Robert perousing the late-night TV circuit, just as his father did before him.

Recently, Robert made the decision to heed his fans' request and join TikTok!

Robert is no stranger to social media, as anyone who follows him on Instagram will tell you. But he'd remained absent from the TikTok universe up until very recently. Now, after months of hoping, wishing, and praying — fans are getting their dues!

For his first video, Robert decided to show off his skills as a fun uncle — or fun'cle as he calls it.

The baby you see in the pictures is Robert's niece, Grace. As is plain to see, Robert is absolutely in love with the adorable newborn.

Since then, a number of people (Robert included) have begun to notice just how much he resembles his father.

After posting the first photo collection of his niece, Robert began digging up old photos of his father in order to contrast them with those of his own. The resemblance is stunning.

For instance, take a look at these two photos of Robert and Steve from when they were young.

They look more like brothers than they do father and son. The facial features are nearly identical, especially when you look at the nose and eyes. Even Robert captioned the photo "The Resemblance" with a crying emoticon.

Or how about this one of father and son feeding a crocodile — 15 years apart.

I don't know what's more impressive about these two men: their absolute fearlessness or their love and devotion to one of nature's most misunderstood creatures. Either way, Robert and Steve are cut from the same cloth.

Undoubtedly, Robert inherited his fashion sense from his father.

There aren't many men who can rock the khaki-on-khaki look and get away with it — especially while wearing such high shorts. It's the iconic look that millions of fans all over the globe will forever associate with The Crocodile Hunter.

They've also had to contend with a few bumps and bruises along the way.

Most parents try desperately to not have their children make the same mistakes as they did. Unfortunately for Robert, he wound up getting bitten on the face by a venomous snake just like his dad.

For the record, this is what they looked like in the aftermath.

Most people would be hyperventilating and fearful for their life after being bitten on the face by a giant snake, but not Robert and Steve. They take a lickin' and keep on tickin'.

Even their mannerisms are eerily similar to one another.

When Robert says "G'day guys, how's it goin'?" I get chills running down my spine. His voice and even the inflection of his words are so reminiscent of Steve's — it's almost as if they're the same person.

Robert's fans couldn't agree more.

A TikToker who goes by the handle @gabiandolive said, "The fact that he was so young when his dad passed away and yet he has the EXACT passion and mannerisms is wild."

Some even suggested that thespirit of Steve Irwin was living inside his son, Robert.

TikTok user @us_atlas remarked, "Every day Robert looks more and more like his father. Steve was taken too soon but I think we're getting him back in a roundabout way."

One thing remains abundantly clear: so long as Robert keeps the memory of his father's legacy alive, Steve will never be gone.

If you aren't already doing so, you can follow Robert on TikTok — @robertirwxn. And if you've been on the fence, looking for a good excuse to join the masses, there's never been a better time!
