Parents Have A New Hack So They Can Repurpose Their Kids' Old Onesies

One thing most parents aren't prepared for is how fast their children grow. In a matter of just a few months, most infants easily outgrow their newborn clothes.

The question becomes what should you do with all their old baby clothes; the ones you're unable to donate? Thanks to TikToker @xotiny__ it appears as if we have our answer — and it's brilliant.

Most parents quickly come to realize the benefits to having their baby in a onesie.

Not only is a onesie low maintenance, but they make changing diapers a breeze. The only downside is that due to the fact children literally grow like weeds in those first few months — they won't fit for long.

So what should you do with your ever-increasing stack of outgrown baby clothes?

Thanks to a clever hack from TikToker @xotiny__, we now have our answer. The first thing you'll want to do is get a sharp pair of scissors and cut along the waist of the onesie.

Once you have the bottom half separated, fix it around your child's neck during mealtimes.

The button clasp that comes attached to the bottom of most onesies helps turn this soiled old fashion garment into a brand new bib! Thus taking your recycling game to a whole new level.

What's great is that a bib is likely something your child won't quickly outgrow.

That means you'll be able to keep using it, time and time again. Once it becomes too small (or too soiled) simply throw it away and reach for another onesie!
