Let me ask you a question: Have you ever gotten your child an outdoor playhouse? If you have, is it still around?
Well, one woman gave the $5 playhouse she got at a yard sale 26 years ago a total makeover, and you won't believe how great it looks now. Needless to say, I was super impressed by the whole process.
In the pictures, she shows her exact process to transform a 26-year-old playhouse into something much more modern. Here's the before picture, so you know what it looked like at the time of its much-needed transformation.
First thing's first, she added a fresh coat of paint. Doesn't this playhouse look so quaint now? I think so. I definitely prefer this color combo.
Doesn't it look super cute or what? Jessica turned this old and dirty playhouse into a chic little hangout. Don't you love all those adorable pots and pans hanging in there? I can't get over it.
She actually made this cute little sink out of a metal tub she had in the garage. What? Isn't that real talent or what? Since her husband is a plumber, he had the faucet just lying around.
I'm pretty blown away by all these lovely changes here. I would never have guessed this was the same piece if I didn't see the before-and-after pictures.
Doesn't this look like night and day? I don't know how long it took this lady to makeover this playhouse, but it must've been quite a lot. But in the end, it was totally worth it.
It's pretty apparent to me that Jessica put so much care into making each and every one of these. I think they're prettier than things in my own house, ha, ha!
Doesn't she have the most impeccable attention to detail? Wow, I don't know if I would have the patience to work on a side project like this one. So kudos to her for accomplishing something this pretty.
