Give Cheesy Lawn Flamingos A Gothic Tough By Adding Skeletons To Them

Who here is a fan of both skeletons and flamingos? I know it may seem like an odd combination, but bear with me. If you answered "yes" to both, I bet you'll get a kick out of this next story.

I can almost guarantee that it would put a smile on your face and perhaps give you an idea or two.

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved skeletons, especially around Halloween time.

They're so fun to play around with and scare people, ha, ha! And then flamingos are one of my favorite birds. They're so unusual-looking and, well, pink, of course.

So, what if I told you that you could combine your love of skeletons and flamingos?

Do I have your attention now? Well, this one Facebook user did just that, and the results are pretty hilarious. Let's take a look at exactly what they did.

One Facebook user picked up some skeletons last year from Facebook's marketplace.

I guess they were most likely planning on using them for Halloween decorations. And then, not long ago, the user also ended up getting a few flamingos at a yard sale.

Do you see where this is going?

No? Okay, then. The user simply posted some pictures they took on Facebook with the caption, "This is what happened." I suppose this is what happens when two unlikely decor items meet!

I don't know about you, but I love this idea.

This is my kind of fun, ha, ha! I can't believe this DIYer combined my two favorite things: skeletons and flamingos. I need to get my hands on both of these and recreate this scene on our lawn.

I wonder what the next-door neighbors thought about this?

They probably scratched their heads for a while at first. But if you're like me, they probably had a big laugh about it, too. At least I hope so, hee-hee!

Whether they liked it or not, I glad to see I'm not the only one who digs this idea.

People on Facebook have been enjoying this fun display. I guess this clever idea has given us all some sort of inspiration. What do you think?

And of course, as always, folks had some suggestions to make this display even crazier.

Some suggested using black flamingos (which you can find online) instead. I don't know how I feel about that. I love the flamingo's pink color. Maybe I could use black skeletons instead.

So what do you think of this skeleton and flamingo display?

Is this your kind of fun, too? I have to admit this is definitely right up my alley, hee-hee. Now I need to look for some lawn flamingos and skeletons ASAP.
