The worst part about putting in work and trying is realizing that all of your effort made no difference at all. Sometimes, things are the way they were always meant to be: crappy and doomed from the beginning.
The only way we can really deal with all of this disappointment is to find some humor in the trials and tribulations of our fellow humans. So that is what we shall do.
