No matter how old I get, I will never stop being excited when Disney movies get added to Netflix.
From live-action remakes, to 90’s classics, Disney movies are making a serious comeback in the world of online streaming, and I am here for it. No longer will I have to illegally stream Tarzan when I want to relive my childhood. 2019 is off to a great start.

“Hercules”
The live-action Hercules was added to Netflix a while ago, and while that was cool and all, nothing will ever compare to the 90’s version that we all know and love. Thankfully, this one will be added to Netflix in September .
“Incredibles 2”
The Parr family is back to fight evil-doers, and you can catch all the animated action from the comfort of your own home. What a time to be alive!
“The Emperor’s New Groove”
The Emperor’s New Groove was funny when I was a kid, and I bet it’s going to be 10 times funnier now that I’ll actually be able to understand the jokes.
“Mary Poppins Returns”
The original Mary Poppins is a classic, and with all the magical powers of today’s advanced technology, I can’t imagine the reboot being anything less than amazing.
“Pocahontas”
This is one that I haven’t been able to watch since my VHS player broke in 2006. Very excited to relive the Pocahontas and John Smith love story, this September .
“Coco”
Coco only just came out in 2017, and is already added to the roster of Disney classics. Can’t wait to watch Miguel and Hector unlock all the secrets behind Miguel’s day-of-the-dead family history.
“101 Dalmatians”
Another Disney classic that we all needed. It may not be the original 90’s version, but it will definitely do the trick.
“Lilo & Stitch”
I think we’ve all seen this heartwarming kids classic at least 25 times, and it never gets old. If you haven’t seen it though, don’t worry, you’ll have your chance to this September .
“Beauty And The Beast”
Emma Watson did a beautiful job playing Belle in the remake of Beauty And The Beast , but the original, coming to Netflix in September , will always have my heart. Sorry, not sorry.
“Chicken Little”
Am I the only one who constantly confused this movie with Chicken Run ?
The good news is, as of September , that never has to happen again.
“Atlantis: The Lost Empire”
Not sure why its taken Netflix so long to put this movie up, but I’m so grateful the wait is finally over.
“Pirates of the Caribbean”
Anything with Johnny Depp in it deserves to be on Netflix, period. Especially Pirates Of The Caribbean . That one is a no-brainer.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”
Alright, we officially have both Guardians Of The Galaxy movies on Netflix.
This is a really good sign that 2019 is going to be our year.
“Star Wars” Well, two of them, at least.
We’re still waiting on all the Star Wars movies that actually matter to us, but this will definitely hold us over, until Netflix comes to their senses and adds the original trilogy.
“Meet The Robinsons”
Meet The Robinsons is such an adorable feel-good flick. Kids find it funny, but there are also some jokes that only adults would find funny. Suitable for the whole family!
“The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”
A live-action Nutcracker is exactly what we needed. Good call, Netflix.
Adding this one to my list of Christmas movies to watch next year.
“Black Panther”
Basically ever Marvel movie is essential. It’s only right that Netflix added Black Panther to the superhero movie selection.
“Cars 3”
In case you haven’t seen the third Cars movie, it’s pretty damn good — and now you can watch all three!
“Tarzan”
This movie probably has the greatest soundtrack of all time.
Phil Collins created a soundtrack that made us all the people we are today. For that, we are forever in his debt.
“Mulan”
Finally, we can get down to business to defeat The Huns.
If you didn’t get that soundtrack reference, you need to watch this movie several more times, and soon you’ll be able to, thanks to Netflix.
“High School Musical 3: Senior Year”
I’m gonna need every High School Musical movie on Netflix so that I can watch them in sequence, thanks!
“Bridge To Terabithia”
AnnaSophia Robb and Josh Hutcherson? It’s a yes for me.
Going to have to cancel all my plans in 2019, so I can stay home and watch kids movies.
“Ant-Man and The Wasp”
Let’s be honest, the more Paul Rudd there is on Netflix, the better.
Very interested to watch him ride on the back of a giant wasp.
“The Princess Diaries Series”
Both The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries II are coming to Netflix, and my life is complete.
