Actress Amber Heard is responding to claims that her ex-husband Johnny Depp's' legal team have made against her.
Johnny's legal team, in an effort to appeal the defamation case against The Sun, is claiming that Amber did not donate the $7 million settlement from their 2016 divorce as she previously claimed, according to a new report by the Daily Mail.
Specifically, the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, who were to split the 2016 settlement evenly.
The Daily Mail reports that documents show that the hospital has only received $100,000, not the promised $3.5 million.
"Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in donations to charitable causes and intends to continue to contribute and eventually fulfill her pledge,” her attorney said.
Johnny's lawyers continue to call Amber's donation plan a "sham."
"Amber Heard lied about donating her divorce money to the CHLA. If you still support her, truly, sincerely, go [expletive] yourself," one fan tweeted.
"IMAGINE YOU PASSED THE LAST 4 YEARS TELLING TO EVERYONE YOU GAVE $7M TO CHARITY IN ORDER TO HELP SICK CHILDREN .... IMAGINE YOU WERE LYING AND KEPT THE MONEY ..... AMBER HEARD DID IT #AmberHeardIsALiar," tweeted another.
It's clear these allegations have only added fuel to the ongoing social media fire.
