Chandler popped the question on Bindi's 21st birthday.
Best birthday present EVER.
“On my birthday I said ‘yes’ & ‘forever’ to the love of my life,” she wrote.
"& every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure & true happiness.”
In a later interview with People, Bindi shared her excitement in even more detail — gushing over her shiny new fiancé.
"This has been the most special day celebrating my 21st birthday. I’ve met my soulmate and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Chandler".
The couple had planned on getting married this month, but due to unforeseeable circumstances, their plans had to take a backseat.
Their ceremony took place at Australia Zoo — the wildlife reserve where the Irwin family lives and works.
"We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding."
"We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos."
"Today we celebrated life and revelled in every beautiful moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens. Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad’s memory."
Naturally, the pair documented their big day to be aired on their show, Crikey! It's the Irwins.
It wasn't clear why Australia is at the very bottom of the list, but fans were not having it!
In response to the backlash, Chandler tweeted, explaining that this was entirely out of their control.
"We will keep you posted as we find out more air dates!," he concluded.
"We have specifically asked @AnimalPlanet about the scheduled premiere of Bindi and Chandler's wedding special in New Zealand," she wrote.
"We love our Wildlife Warriors neighbours! I'm sure they are doing their best to get the show to you as soon as possible. Stay healthy and happy!"
