It’s the most wonderful time of the year; Award season — and what better way to kick things off than by compiling this year’s most uncomfortable moments from the AMAs?!
Last night was the anual, American Music Awards, and it was obviously spectacular.
Really magical things happen when you put all the biggest musicians of the year in one room.

But where there is live television, there is inevitably going to be a painfully awkward moment or two. Or 10.
And we caught every last one of them to be compiled into a list for your convenience and enjoyment.

Brace yourselves to feel extreme amounts of secondhand anxiety and embarrassment for your favorite celebs. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
Selena Gomez was — to put it delicately — pitchy af and everybody noticed.
Singing live flawlessly isn’t an easy thing to do — I know that. But Selena seemed to be truly struggling here.
And the fact that she ironically sang the lyrics “sang off-key in my chorus” made things so much worse.
While fans normally praise artists for performing their songs live — being authentic — this time? Not so much.
People are actually encouraging Selena to lip sync instead.

ICYMI, Halsey threw a bit of a tantrum on Twitter after not getting nominated for a Grammy Award. So, after winning an AMA, she gave a speech, seizing the opportunity to come for the Grammys throat once again.
It made us all pretty uncomfortable.

Jamie, girl, do you know how much that dress probably cost? And you’re casually standing on it like it’s a damn welcome mat.
Speaking of Camila Cabello, after getting her dressed stepped on, she had an awkward moment of her own…
She leaned in to give her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, a kiss, and instead, he gave her a hug.
A camera panned over to Jenna Dewan mouthing “She’s always extra,” during Camila’s performance.
I know she probably meant this as a criticism, but if I were Camila I would take it as a compliment.
What’s the point of being a pop star if you’re not extra, amirite?
Greenday made us think they were gonna sing “Bad Blood” but then only sang a couple of words from it.
Guys, why would you tease us like that and then not deliver?
What a letdown.
Post Malone randomly talking about grapes.
Leave it to Posty to say the strangest, most uncalled for and unexpected thing at the end of his acceptance speech.
After graciously accepting his AMA, he said: “I love grapes”.
Okay then.
Taylor Swift and Halsey being the only artists to give Billie Eilish a standing ovation.
For what she’s accomplished by the age of just 17, everybody in that room should have been standing for her.

Carrie Underwood getting interrupted during her acceptance speech.
Thankfully, this time, it wasn’t Kanye West doing the interrupting.
As Carrie was giving her emotional acceptance speech after winning an award, she was interrupted and told that she actually won two awards.
Why couldn’t they just let her win each award separately?…
The shotty video and audio quality throughout the show.
Fans were deeply disappointed in whoever it was operating the cameras and audio all night. They really missed the mark…
