They had no money to support their 5 or so children, just government funding, would smoke a lot, and just let their kids do whatever they want. I just wanted to shove bags of condoms under all their doors along with information on how to recieve free birth control. I’ve found that a lot of it is lack of education, lack of boundaries growing up, and being less well off because of these things. It sucks, it’s frustrating, and I feel for them, but there’s only so much you can do before you need to protect yourself. Calling the police was ABSOLUTELY the right thing to do, no question. If they break in again, call again. If their mom isn’t willing to parent them, let the law do it for her.”
