It's goodbye at ABC and Good Morning America to now former hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, who were finally sent off the network after an "extremely contentious" mediation session. Remember, the hosts were involved in a serious extramarital affair scandal about two months; well, this new development is one of its consequences.

According to TMZ, the two had a marathon mediation session on January 26 with ABC, which saw them cut ties with the network.
The report stated that the two would receive their contractual payout upon exit from the network and the set of the lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need To Know, which they hosted alongside Dr. Jennifer Ashton.
A source confirmed that the mediation session was filled with allegations leveled against Robach and Holmes of several law-breaking and professional misconduct.
Robach reportedly had alcohol in her dressing room, but an insider termed that allegation ridiculous because the network sent her some of the bottles. The host was also accused of attending a College Football National Championship game last year and then showing up drunk on set the following day.
A source close to the host is coming to deny the claims, adding that the accusation was insane and saying that Robach was tired. A lot of finger-pointing has been happening between the hosts and the network.
The network went further with their allegations and accused Holmes and Robach of mishandling their involvement with each other and waiting too long before telling the network executive about their ongoing romance.
ABC disclosed that their behavior on set was uncomfortable for some staff but hasn't officially confirmed the news of their exit from the network.
During the session, reports claimed that the pair showed up as a united front in the company of their team of lawyers, Andrew Brettler and Eric George, who attended via Zoom. It was a long back-and-forth session as the network had trouble deciding if they wanted to dispose of them as anchors.
Rumors about their workplace romance were reported by Daily Mail last November, and it happened when they were both legally married to their partners. Reports following the backlash led to them being taken off the air, and they appeared last on the talk show on December 2.
Before their mediation session with the network, reports claimed that ABC did not source permanent replacements despite rumors that DeMarco Morgan would be filling the big shoes. Other options include Rhiannon Ally, Stephanie Ramos, and Gio Benitez.
