The 30-year-old singer is still front-page news for having hosted her New Year's Eve Special on TV with godmother Dolly Parton, and she used the high-profile slot to announce her upcoming single, Flowers.

The footage showed Miley parading around in a sunny field and stunning in a gold dress. The release, however, is fast becoming a talking point as the date is the same as ex-husband Liam Hemsworth's birthday. "I can love me better" are in the lyrics - fans seem to think it might be Miley throwing shade.

Miley this year hosted the NYE Special with country legend Dolly. In 2021, Miley hosted the same event from Miami, FL and with comedian and actor Pete Davidson.

Elsewhere, Miley continues her ambassador status with Italian label Gucci.
