Television personality Alyssa Lopez gained recognition when she competed on The Challenge: USA and the 23rd season of Big Brother. It has been over a year since she was on the show, and Alyssa has returned to her job at Hooters. Sadly, a Twitter user was not pleased about it and took to the social media platform to troll the reality TV star. Unlike many, Alyssa didn't remain quiet, clapping back at the user for job-shaming her. Here are the details.

Alyssa Carpets A Troll

On December 18, 2022, Alyssa stood up for herself after a troll made fun of her for returning to her old job following her stint on Big Brother. The Twitter user shared a gif of someone trying not to laugh with the caption, "A certain person from #bb23 is back working at Hooters 🤭."

Not long after sharing the tweet, Alyssa clapped back at the tweep with her own tweet. The 26-year-old asked the user why they would think she should be embarrassed about her job. According to Alyssa, paying her rent from only two shifts at Hooters was amazing. She further noted that many reality TV stars were human beings who had actual jobs, adding that being able to show it meant she was real. To crown it all, Alyssa asked the troll to come to her next shift, and she would buy them a shot.

Alyssa Has Always Been Proud Of Her Hooters Job

In the past, Alyssa hasn't been shy about earning a living at the chicken wing chain known for its skimpy women's uniforms. Photos on her social media accounts dating back to 2018 show her in the famous shrunken orange shorts and tight white tank top. In one of the posts, the brunette beauty posed underneath a huge Hooters billboard in South Florida featuring her as a model.

Alyssa is only one of the many celebrities to express pride over their non-Hollywood jobs. In 2018, photos of The Cosby Show alum Geoffrey Owens bagging groceries at a Trader Joe's in New York surfaced on the internet. Netizens took to social media to troll the actor, using demeaning words, which he revealed hurt and humiliated him. However, Geoffrey made it clear that he would gladly return to his old job.

Geoffrey Receives Help

Geoffrey may have felt sad about the hurtful words he received, but the love from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry was enough to make him smile. Not long after the photos went viral, Tyler Perry invited Geoffrey to appear on The Haves and the Haves Not, to which he obliged.

Also, he received $25,000 from Nicki Minaj but chose to donate the money to the Actor's Fund. Over four years later, Geoffrey is still doing well, enjoying a happy family with his wife and child.
