Dog owners all have one thing in common: they're absolutely insane. For countless millennial pet owners, their animals are like members of the family and are afforded all the same rights and privileges as if they were humans.

Recently, a therapy dog by the name of Norbert received a Christmas present, unlike anything you've ever seen before. It came in the form of a two-story dog house, elaborately decorated with all the trappings of the holiday season.

Norbert may only be seven inches tall, weighing in at only three-and-a-half pounds, but he's big where it counts — in his heart. Known for his crooked smile, his ever-growing assortment of impressive tricks, and for bringing joy and happiness to everyone he meets, this adorable Chihuahua/Small Poodle mix has quickly become one of the internet's most popular therapy dogs.

Since being adopted by his mother, Julie Steines, back in 2009, this little pup's face has been spread all across social media and on the covers of several prominent dog magazines — including Animal Wellness and Groomer to Groomer.

Being that Norbert has spent the better part of his life in service to others, this year his parents thought it would be nice to do something special for their lovable pup. They decided to give Norbert his own private space to unwind in the form of a dog house — one that's unlike anything you've ever seen before.

To Call Norbert's House A 'Dog House' Is A Bit Of A Misnomer

Norbert's two-story doggy mansion is fully furnished with all the trappings a pooch could ever ask for. Inside, Norbert has his own furniture, his own bed, and a second larger access door for when other dogs want to come over to play or just to visit. But the best thing about Norbert's staggering dog house is that the entire thing is decorated for Christmas — both inside and out.

Not surprisingly, Norbert's massive mansion has caused quite an uproar on TikTok, having already amassed 1.7 million plays and over 300,000 "likes" in just a few short days.

"Nicer than my apartment," fellow TikToker @laneygrubbs commented. "They need a roommate?"

"Lots of dogs live better lives than humans," @Sher chimed in. "I wanna come back next life as a spoiled dog."
