Okay, so we’re going to talk about firings today. Listen, we’ve all been fired before, and whether it was for a dumb reason or because you didn’t show up three days in a row well…
Actually, I forgot where I was going with this.
In the land of entertainment, a lot of stuff can go wrong.

And people get fired all the time.
Sometimes it’s directors and sometimes it’s actors.
But there’s perhaps one group of people who often go unmentioned.

And no, it’s not the TV or movie crew (although they also often get forgotten about).
So today we’re looking at TV Hosts.

Some of them were fired for legit reasons, but a lot of them are just plain dumb.
So let’s get into it!
1: Sinéad O’Connor

Oh yeah, we’re counting SNL hosts too.
So if you haven’t heard of why Sinéad O’Connor isn’t allowed on SNL, then let me put it this way: she called the pope evil and ripped up a picture of him.
2: Chad “Blue Bear” Geary

Apparently, this guy was fired from American Hot Rod for “insubordination”.
Jeez, that sounds like a reason to get executed by the empire, not fired from a show about freaking hot rods.
3: Nicolle Wallace

Get this: apparently, this ex View star was fired for “not arguing enough with her co-hosts”.
Jeez… I guess those guys are pretty desperate to drum up ratings…
4: Derek Travis

This story is actually pretty interesting.
While participating on Street Outlaws , Derek Travis was fired from his real-life job due to the possibly illegal, more illicit nature of the show.
5: Adrien Brody

So a little bit of improvisation is why Adrien Brody can’t be on SNL anymore.
He came out to introduce Sean Paul in some dreadlocks which, while it isn’t funny, isn’t worth being fired over.
6: Sarah Palin
Yeah, I bet this name comes as a bit of a surprise.
But yes, she was fired from her analyst job on Fox News because she started butting heads with the higher-ups… something that is apparently not good.
7: Michelle Collins

Michelle was fired from The View because, during one segment, she gave way too many personal anecdotes. Wait… what?
Isn’t that like, the whole point? To relate the story to things you’ve done?
8: Andy Kaufman

Listen, when you sign on Andy Kaufman you gotta know he’s going to be unpredictable.
Whether he’s singing songs for children to a room full of adults or inviting his friend Tony Clifton on the show, you never know what’s going to come next.
Andy Kaufman (CONT)

So after dealing with his BS for a while, SNL finally decided to put it to a vote.
In the end, the “Keep Andy” votes came in at 169,186, while 195,544 voted to “Dump Andy.”
9: Gretchen Carlson

Oh yes, believe it or not, not everyone at FOX News is evil. Some have to be victims of that evil.
Such was the case of Gretchen Carlson, who got fired for the stupidest reason on this list.
Gretchen Carlson (CONT)

So back in July of 2016, Gretchen announced she was being terminated from the Network.
So what was the reason?

Her reasoning was that her co-host had sexually harassed her.
I mean, that sounds legit.
And it gets worse…

She also said that Roger Ailes called her “a Man-hater” and that she needed to “get along with the boys”.
10: Leah Remini

Leah Remini’s reason is not any better.
Apparently, she thinks that Sharon Osbourne axed her from the show because according to Remini, Sharon thinks she’s “ghetto and awkward”.
11: Tom Smith

This guy was fired for being a nice guy.
He was “let go” from Fast N’ Loud after he let a fan take a photo.
The photo wasn’t even bad.

He allowed a fan with cystic fibrosis pose for a pic next to a Rolls-Royce owned by shop owner Richard Rawlings.
It’s okay, he has his own show now.

It’s called Misfit Garage .
It’s a spinoff but it is still worth watching, especially if you miss him.
12: Bill O’Reilly

Haha, gotcha there didn’t I? No, he was obviously fired for a very good reason, I just wanted to make sure you were still paying attention.
And to all the people who just read the titles, I’ll be seeing you in the comments section.
13: Marc Lamont Hill
So Marc Lamont Hill was fired after he got into a heated argument with David Horowitz after Horowitz called Hill an “affirmative action baby.”
Uh… I think you have that backward, FOX.
So? What do you think?

Which was the dumbest reason on this list for you?
Let us know in the comments!
