Zoë Kravitz, daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, recently confirmed via her reps to People that after 18 months of marriage, she was getting a divorce from her husband, actor Karl Glusman.
While this came as a surprise to many, other fans noticed she had shared some cryptic posts to her Instagram that may have hinted that this was on the horizon.
Zoë and Karl were married in June of 2019.
The couple had been dating for two years.
The two had celebrated their one year anniversary this summer, with Karl writing at the time, “Not the year we expected… but I feel like if we can make it through this, we can take on anything,” in a now-deleted post .
However, on January 2nd, it was confirmed by *People* that the couple were splitting.
The publication confirmed that Zoë had filed for divorce in December of last year, which came as a surprise to many of the couple’s fans.
However, other fans had noticed a particularly cryptic image Zoë had shared shortly before the news of the split broke.
The photo in question was shared to her Instagram story with the caption “Mood.”
The image depicts drag queen Akeria Chanel labelled “The Universe” throwing out a garbage bag that has been captioned, “People and places that no longer serve my greatest and highest good.”
Given that Zoë shared this image after filing for divorce, many fans are assuming it was a comment on the couple’s relationship and split.
What do you think?
