In the ongoing battle women face fighting for equal rights , many men stand beside us.
Then, there are the naysayers — the ones who question, “well, what about men’s rights?” without actually knowing the issues facing men.
Thankfully, one TikToker has the perfect answer to this. It’s clear, concise, and will leave men speechless.
Meet Alla.

She’s a TikToker under the username @therussianroulette.
Recently, she touched on the subject of men’s rights. She had had enough of men hijacking conversations about women’s rights by asking, “But what about our rights.”
Her video, which leaves behind NO crumbs, sought to put an end to that.
She began her video by turning the question, “what about men’s rights?” around on the men.

“Yes, what about men’s rights?” she asked while dramatic music played. “If you’re really that concerned, you probably have done your research, right?”
This is a way of smoking out the actual men advocating for men’s rights and the ones who merely claim to be.
She then pointed out some of the issues facing men. Again, while asking them if they’ve done their research.

“Are you advocating for a ban of military service for men?” she asked.
After all, conscription in the United States (also known as the draft) was an issue for decades.
This left able-bodied men with no choice but to ship off to war.

There were many protests surrounding this, especially during the time of the Vietnam war.
While the laws eventually changed in the United States, it’s still a reality facing men in many countries around the world.
Are they doing anything to change that? What about the next topic Alla brought up: sex trafficking of boys?

Because it’s not just women or young girls who are affected. A study done in 2016 found that boys make up about 36% of children in the U.S.-wide sex industry.
Alla then pointed out how more men than women commit suicide because “they are not capable of fitting into the patriarchy.”

Currently, men are more likely to commit suicide than women.
Global data from the World Health Organization found that there were an estimated 793,000 suicide deaths worldwide in 2016. Most were men.
“Are you trying to fight it?” Alla asked.

“See, if you would really care, you would stop asking us, women, this question,” she said, before adding, “And you would start asking yourself instead.”
She continued pointing out how men would fight for men’s rights instead of just asking about it.
“You would stand with your discriminated brothers and sisters and you would fight for them.”

Alla then pointed out why so few men don’t: “But the reality is, you know the specifically your rights are not violated and you don’t care for those men whose rights are.”
“And you’re only asking us this question because you want your sexism to be justified and because you want to shift the attention,” she continued.
After sharing that she really cares for women’s rights as a woman, she ended her TikTok Ted Talk with this: “And I ask you, do you as a man, really care for men rights. Let that sink in.”
Alla’s video already 884,000 views and so many supportive comments.

“I didn’t hear her stutter ONCE,” wrote one user. Another shared, “i once said to a guy ‘okay you wanna talk about mens issues lets talk about them’ and guess what. it wasn’t mens issues he was worried about.”
You can watch Alla’s video for yourself.
While some men agreed with Alla’s video, there were those who proved the point of her video with their trolling comments.
For instance, one wrote, “I don’t wanna be a smart alek by saying women in the US have more power and privilege.”
For the most part, though, sis spoke straight facts and got applauded for it.
