There’s an easy way you can feel safer by carrying a simple object that wouldn’t otherwise stand out. And every woman can just carry it on their person or inside their bag.

It’s being advertised as a self-defense tool for women. Why? Because apparently, it has multiple uses. One of those uses is a cutter that you can use to cut through zip ties and rope. Aha! I get it now.
A woman on TikTok posted a video about it.
And it quickly went viral. Get this — it got like three million views! Wow! In the video, Shannon Alexandra shows us how she used it to cut through a zip tie and rope.
Once other women saw it, they sure had a lot to say about it.
Many of them thought this idea was genius, and it definitely doesn’t hurt to have something like this in your arsenal should an occasion arise where you needed to defend yourself.
Meanwhile, others pointed out the obvious.
It’s a pretty sad world we live in that something like this even needs to exist. Am I right, ladies? It’s definitely more difficult to feel safe when you’re a woman, especially when walking around at night.
So, how do you actually use it?
The best way to use this tool is to have it near you. So instead of putting it in your hair, clip it to an article of clothing. That way, it’s closer to you if you need it. For example, if you had to cut through zip ties or rope you’ll have it handy.
It’s also safe to take with you when you travel.
Since it’s a hair clip, you shouldn’t have any issues flying with it clipped in your hair. And it also doubles as a screwdriver, bottle opener, and an 8 mm wrench. Wow! Who knew, eh? That’s pretty fantastic if you asked me.
