Many of us have an idea of what our ideal wedding day might look like. A more interesting question is this: what would it take to ruin your wedding ?
There are only a few ways that everything can go right on your big day, and an infinite number of ways that they could go wrong.

A professional photographer is essential.
Your friends should take plenty of good candid shots on their phones, but you really want a professional there who can properly document things: someone who knows something about framing a shot, light balance, and editing raw images.
This TikToker is furious with her photographer.
Kendall McClelland is so upset, in fact, that she apparently created a TikTok account — @kennyxdoll — just to complain about the shoddy job her photographer did at her recent wedding. All three of her videos are on the same topic.
She had certain expectations.
Kendall says she paid the photographer $7,800 CAD (about $5,300 USD), so it was reasonable for her to have these expectations. She shared a collage of the photographer’s other work, all of which looked pretty good. But Kendall didn’t get the results she wanted out of her wedding.
The photographer did their job, technically.
Kendall juxtaposed the photographer’s portfolio with what they shot at her wedding. While much of it is a tad underwhelming, it seems like the photographer took plenty of pics of the scene and the attendees.
Some commenters had sympathy.
Speaking as someone who had kind of a lousy photographer at my wedding, it’s hard not to feel a sense of secondhand frustration. But Kendall’s embarking on a full-blown vendetta against this photographer, who did do their job — even if it was underwhelming.
Is there more to the story?
Some commenters, including people who photograph weddings professionally, said that Kendall’s story didn’t pass the smell test. In other words, there’s something going on here that goes beyond a client being frustrated with a photographer’s work.
Kendall wasn’t done.
In a second video , Kendall shared 21 images of the backs of people’s heads, along with a sarcastic message about the photographer specializing in these pics. Wedding photographers take hundreds of pictures at a typical wedding, so 21 of these photos — some of which are really well composed — doesn’t seem so bad.

If you’re still invested in this drama, Kendall’s got a part three to her saga, seen above. This one shows her angrily scrolling through her wedding photos. It’s tough to get much of an impression if these ones are good or bad. All we know is that Kendall doesn’t like them.

Parts two and three don’t add a whole lot to the story, but part one is only 22 seconds long and succinctly tells the story (well, at least Kendall’s side of it), so it’s a good place to start.
