In a recent interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show , Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, called out her own son for using her fame to gain popularity on social media.
Earlier this week, Posh Spice paid a visit to “The Ellen Degeneres Show”, and as per usual, she was a delight.
They were a total hoot!
Ellen tried out Victoria’s signature Instagram pose.
Who knew that she was so flexible?! This is truly impressive — I can barely lift my leg 90 degrees.
Ellen also revealed to Victoria that her other son, Brooklyn, made People Magazine’s sexiest men list for 2019.
Something I’m sure every mother wants to hear about her child!
“I don’t know if I want to know that,” she said. “I don’t need to know.”
Fair enough.
But I’m sure somewhere deep down she’s probably proud that she had a huge hand in creating what People is considering to be, one of the sexiest men in 2019.
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate Brooklyn Beckham.
One thing is for sure: With that face, Brooklyn is going to be responsible for a lot of broken hearts in his lifetime.
But by far, the best part of the interview was Victoria calling out her son, Romeo.
She revealed that he had the ultimate ruse to use his mom to gain social media followers.
TBH, if my mom was famous I would probably do the same thing. No shame.
It’s just one of the many benefits of being born into wealth and fame. Why not take full advantage of it, amirite?
She explained that her 17-year-old son, Romeo, recently joined TikTok.
He asked if she would join him in a video, dancing to a Spice Girls song — all in an effort to boost his online popularity .
“What should we dance to? He said ‘the Spice Girls,'” Victoria told Ellen.
“And then he took my phone, he posted it on my Instagram,” she went on .
“And said, ‘That’ll get my numbers up’… He used me!”
Ellen played a clip of the video that shows Victoria and Ellen dancing to “Spice Up Your Life” — a true classic.
Despite being used for her fame, Victoria admitted that it was actually a fun bonding experience with her son.
“It was a lot of fun,” she said.
As if she hadn’t already embarrassed her son enough, she then called his poor dancing capabilities.
“But I have to say I think that Romeo definitely takes after his dad with his moves,” she explained.
Romeo didn’t exactly look like he was putting much of an effort into his dance moves.
“When you’re that good looking, you just have to do a few moves,” Ellen said in his defense.
“So, you’re saying David is not a good dancer?,” Ellen then asked.
“Well, you know, he’s got some moves. He’s very good when he’s sitting down,” she joked.
What do you think of Victoria Beckham’s teenage son using her to gain popularity on social media?
