The back-to-school season just doesn’t feel the same for everyone this year. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic still impacting countries around the world, many schools across the United States are looking for ways to bring education to students in a safe and efficient way. Many are worried about the health of students and their families, while others are concerned that teachers will fall ill within a few weeks of reopening schools.
While many schools want to reopen, it seems as though it’s difficult to do so with the proper CDC regulations and protocols.

Some classrooms in schools are too small to follow social-distancing guidelines, while others don’t have the proper ventilation. With so many questions left unanswered, many families are nervous going into the coming year.
Teachers across the country are trying to find ways to calm students during this uncertain time.

While we’re not entirely sure what is to come with the 2020-2021 school year, teachers are trying their best to put students at ease. For many young students, it’s a scary time.
Being in elementary school and having so many rules to follow can be difficult.

Many students are going to school and already being exposed to new rules such as lining up, staying seated, and following a strict schedule. Now, the COVID-19-era of school adds even more rules and stresses on our little ones.
Primary school teachers are doing their best to make things a bit fun during the craziness that is to come.

Some teachers are looking for ideas to decorate their classrooms in fun and creative ways that make social distancing still something that is easy and enjoyable for children.
Two first-grade teachers in Florida came up with a brilliant way to make their students excited to stay seated, even when they’re six feet apart.
Patricia Dovi and Kim Martin were given tri-fold plexiglass dividers for their desks and decided to turn them into something great—mini Jeep cars. Each car features a student’s name as the license plate.
Patricia and Kim teach two different classes, but share curriculums.

Both of their classrooms feature the fun Jeep cars and each student has their own, individual desk with their name. That way, no one is sharing or using the same one.
The idea stemmed from Patricia, who actually drives a Jeep to school every day.

“Anything that we can do to add some silliness and some creativity to get them excited is going to be really important in the longevity of this school year,” she told Insider.
While the school supplied the plexiglass, the other supplies came out of pocket from both teachers.

As many know, teachers are constantly paying for supplies and items out of their own pockets. It goes to show how important students’ happiness is to many teachers across the country.
Clearly, both of these first grade teachers care about their kids.

With all teachers on the edge of their seats for what is to come, it’s touching to see just how much teachers truly care about their students. They still go above and beyond to make things great for them, despite the anxiety of what is to come.
