I think I’ve told you once or twice that I’m planning my own wedding right now. Therefore, I’m always interested to see what other people have done to get some creative ideas .
On the other hand, I also want to ensure that there will be no wedding shaming after my big day. So when I stumbled upon this Reddit thread devoted to this very thing, I was quite intrigued. Check it out.

1. This Engagement Announcement
I’m not in the habit of reading engagement announcements. However, I can assume they’re mostly pretty tame. But not this one. Oh, no! Somebody really went to town on this one, and I haven’t laughed this hard in a while.
2. This Ceremony Venue
Can you believe this “bridezilla” actually called dibs on a public park area? Does she really expect people to abide by this DIY sign, lol? If I were a mean person and saw this, I would camp right on the day of her wedding day just to spite her, ha, ha!
3. This Wedding Ride
Um, word to the wise, if you can’t afford proper transportation on your wedding day, don’t blame it on anybody else but yourself. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any wedding couple using Uber Pool as a ride on their special day, ha, ha!
4. This Awkward Moment
Oh, heck no! Ain’t nobody dancing with my husband before we get to do our first official dance of the night. Who does this cousin think she is, huh? I’m surprised this guy even stood up and proceeded to do that.
5. This Wedding-Appropriate Attire
I’m not the kind of person to tell people what they can wear to attend my wedding. However, I really do hope that everyone finds clothing options that would at least be considered “business casual”. These ladies are ready for clubbing, not so much for a wedding, no?
6. This Olive Surprise
Weddings are these funny events where people want to outdo each other. So this couple thought it would be fun to have a guy in a bathtub hand out Martini olives. I hope he’s wearing something under that. Yikes!

Looking at this picture almost makes me wonder who the bride is here. If it wasn’t for the bouquet of flowers, I could have guessed the lady with the fur shawl. Oh, wait, that’s actually the mother-of-the-bride! Wow!
8. This List Of Don’ts
Oh, how nice of this bride to provide a list of don’ts for her wedding day. And equally so, I’m happy to see that I can still wear my Walmart flip-flops like I was planning all along.
9. This Cheapskate
OMG! This behavior here literally takes the cake, no? First of all, they actually asked people to pay for a slice of cake at their wedding? That’s a big faux pax. And then to come back and ask for more money? Unbelievable.
10. This Grand Entrance
This is something you don’t see every day. A couple suspended over their table for a grand wedding entrance. I can see how that can all go wrong. Oh, and it did. They did accomplish something — it was definitely memorable!
11. This Smart Decision
I know it’s hard to pick a unique place to take your wedding photos. I’m currently on a search for one. But I’ve never seen a couple choose a mud puddle for quite the obvious reasons, lol.

OMG! I can’t decide if this is tacky AF or absolutely brilliant. On the one hand, it does capture this couple’s unique dynamic. But, on the other hand, it’s kind of sad, no?
13. This Ridiculous Request
OMG! I hope this is a joke. How on the earth would somebody think this request here was okay? Not only are they looking for a freebie, but they’re charging an application fee? This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.
14. This Wedding Centerpiece
Wedding centerpieces are supposed to add something pretty and glamorous to the event. However, seeing somebody use a defenseless little fish like this is cruel and unusual punishment. I would never do something as selfish as this.
15. This Sign Of Things To Come
It’s pretty apparent who wears the pants in this relationship. But to make it so obvious to everyone is a little tacky, no? I honestly fear for this groom a little bit. This lady seems so bossy already.
16. This Fire Hazard
I didn’t even know indoor fireworks were a thing and these photos prove why no one should ever set them off — especially at the wedding. The sad thing is that the decor did look really beautiful before it went up in flames.
