In life, there are many times when people tell us things and we just don’t believe them. Sometimes, when people tell us who they really are, we need to see it with our own two eyes.
We don’t always want to see the worst in people. That’s how so many of us end up staying in relationships far too long — we’re just blind to the truth.
However, when someone tells you something important, something that can make or break your relationship, maybe you should listen.
One TikTok user opened up about an ex-boyfriend she had 10-12 years ago
TikTok user Alyse shared that she once dated a guy who claimed to have sold his soul to the devil. While that sounds like a huge red flag to some, she didn’t think it was — at first. That was until one night when things got really crazy.
To be fair, Alyse was only in her 20s
You know how things go when we’re young — we’re naive and see everything through rose-colored glasses. At first, Alyse didn’t really believe that this guy had sold his soul. However, things began to get super weird in their relationship. One night, the two got into a fight and it ended pretty scary.
She claimed he was doing some unsavory things
Their argument began at Alyse’s apartment, she said. She claimed he was doing things she wasn’t really down with. And, on top of that, he wouldn’t get a job while she was working 60 hours a week.
After arguing back and forth the two decided to “sleep it off” and talk about it in the morning. But, when she lay down in her bed, things were just not right.
When she opened her eyes, she saw four black beings swirling around her ceiling
As if that wasn’t scary enough, Alyse said that she saw a male figure standing there when she was looking out her window.
The content creator says she has seen ghosts before, so she decided to tell the beings that they weren’t welcome there. But her boyfriend responded in a creepy tone, “They’re here for me.”
He claimed they were “upset” with the TikTok-er for the way she was treating him
The paranormal beings were there to scare Alyse into treating him right. She then said her boyfriend was getting angry because she was telling his “friends” to leave.
She then looked over to her bedroom door, which was cracked open, and saw a being that was half man and half ram with red eyes staring back at her.
She ended up apologizing to him out of fear
Alyse said she apologized and told her boyfriend she loved him, despite their argument. Out of fear, she let it go. But, later on, when the two broke up, she had to stay in a hotel room for a while because she feared staying at her house.
She claimed he threatened to kill her if she ever broke up with him. Although it’s been 10 to 12 years since it happened, Alyse showed that she still gets chills thinking and talking about it.
To make things even weirder, the reason he sold his soul is bonkers
When someone in the comments asked Alyse just why her ex-boyfriend had sold his soul, she commented, “He said he sold his soul so we could be together forever. He said we would have 6 kids and the youngest kid would accidentally kill him in a freak accident and that the devil told him that..”
People online were shocked and truly disturbed
People online told Alyse she needed to pray and cleanse herself of all of this drama. However, some said that they, too, have been in similar situations. There were comments on TikTok that could pinpoint the creature that Alyse saw in her bedroom, down to the name.
“The demon in the door with goat head is Baphomet. How terrifying..,” wrote MSievers77.
“Girl you saw the baphomet…my bd didn’t same and it came while I was 6mnths pregnant I woke up to it at the foot of my bed,” added AmberAlicia💖.
Some had some questions about her ex-boyfriend’s finances, though
A lot of people on TikTok were curious as to why her boyfriend had no money if he truly had sold his soul to the devil. Others wanted to know why the devil wouldn’t help him get a job, too.
“I would have said ‘tell them to help pay these bills then,'” wrote TheTribeLowe.
But the biggest piece of advice is simple
Most people on TikTok in the comment section had one thing to say: believe people when they tell you who they are. Sure, in our 20s, we may think people are joking about believing in things like the devil.
However, it can be true, and they can be into some deeply twisted stuff. Red flags are bright red for a reason!
