Cats are full of tricks and showcase these interesting traits from time to time. However, this newly adopted feline is pulling a move that’s not so surprising to us (we know these furry animals) but is a discovery to her new family. Want to know the big find?
Keep reading for the details, and you’ll surely have a good laugh.
Anti-Sleep Campaign
Ash is finding it a bit difficult to come to terms with its owners’ need for a good night’s sleep and is doing all she can to keep them awake. This campaign has been going on for almost a year, and she’s been deploying various tactics depending on who is involved.
Every move this cat is deploying gives CIA/FBI vibes and what strikes us is the precision and intentionality behind invading its human space and achieving her goal. Lauren posted a caption on the video and wrote.
“My cat doing everything she can to sleep with us at night (and wake us up at 4:30am).” This video has since garnered over 9 million plays and is so worth it.
Ash Lays On Lauren’s Face
Creator of the TikTok account, user @laurenjenel12 and owner Ash’s mom gives a vivid description of how she operates.
She also explained that the cat swings at her boyfriend more but doesn’t leave any marks. But Ash’s most preferred means of making her owners lose sleep is scream-meowing till one of the parents wakes up.
Ash Joins Her Parents In Bed For Naps
As shown in the viral video, Ash isn’t backing down from making sure her parents don’t leave her alone and bored out of her mind, which means both have to be awake for them to spend quality time together.
She sometimes joins them in bed for intermittent naps when she’s feeling benevolent and thoughtful towards her parent, but in her usual manner, she picks the most uncomfortable spot on the bed to take these short-timed naps.
Viewers React To The Video

Lauren attempted to find humor in the situation, so they set up a home camera to record the cat’s late-night tricks resulting in hilarious content of Ash doing its thing and even poking Lauren’s boyfriend’s face at some point at different hours through the night.
