Ooh, who could it be? Well, by all accounts, it should be Disney because they own Marvel… right?
Well true believers, believe it or not, but the answer may surprise you.
We’re going to talk about two things today:
The first being Spider-Man, who was recently taken away from Disney. Take a moment of silence for our fallen, probably going to be rebooted again, comrade.
But at least Tom is still playing him!
The second is Joan Celia Lee, daughter of one of the most important men in the Marvel universe, Stan Lee.
She has decided to take the side of Sony in this war for the Spider.
But, wait, why?
Shouldn’t she be with Marvel, the people who gave Spider-Man so much?
Well, no, because apparently according to her statements to TMZ, she wants the company to be “checked and balanced” .
She has gone on record…
Saying that Disney was very mean and naughty to her late father, and that they: “commoditized [her] father’s work and never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency”.
Strong words, Mrs. Lee.
