I love the look of a big ol’ fat cat. They’re so rolly-polly and huggable.
But I also know that it’s not healthy for a kitty to weigh so much and in the end, health is more important than hug-factor.
And then I saw this incredible cat while scrolling through Instagram.
It’s the best of both worlds!
I wouldn’t ever come up with the idea of trimming a cat’s face to look like an over-stuffed squirrel, but I kind of love it.
Rawr!
It took some digging, but I found that this cat belongs to the Pink Pig Cattery in Shanghai and is named Fen Fen.
Fen Fen is majestic. Fen Fen is floof.
He’s an Exotic Shorthair cat, which have similar body and facial structure to a Persian, but shorter, denser fur.
Obviously, the fur is much easier to tame than a Persian’s.
Exotic Shorthairs are known to have the quiet grace of a Persian, but like to play more.
I just want to squish his floofy cheeks, don’t you?
