Honey Boy is the next biopic that is coming around the mountain now.
It is loosely based on Shia LaBeouf’s relationship with his father, and he is also the one who is writing the script.

The official synopsis from IMDb for ‘Honey Boy’ says:
“From a screenplay by Shia LaBeouf, based on his own experiences, filmmaker Alma Har’el brings to life a young actor’s stormy childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father and deal with his mental health .”
Shia LaBeouf will be playing his father.
Which makes sense, since the resemblance is already there.
And the trauma too.
And Shia looks completely different.
Sure, the face might give him away, but all in all, he looks so different!
I wouldn’t recognize him on the street!
The title of the film is actually from one of LaBeouf’s memories of his father.
While LaBeouf was filming The Christmas Path , his dad was standing behind the camera.
So what exactly happened?
“Right before we filmed, I looked at him and my dad mouthed, ‘You can do it, honey boy,'” LaBeouf said .
He went on to admit something that is quite heartbreaking.
“My greatest and my worst memories are with my father,”
So we can definitely expect some crying to happen during the movie.
So we can expect to see something awful and wonderful all at the same time in the upcoming film.
Besides, everyone loves a good father and son film.
Come on, you know it’s true.
The Lion King , Beautiful Boy , there are all kinds of them out there!
