Shay and her longtime boyfriend Matte Babel welcomed their rainbow baby girl earlier this month.
She made the announcement via this adorable Instagram post.
“Never letting go…” she wrote.
However, Shay is now being slammed by mommy shamers after attending Drake’s birthday party this past weekend.
Shay took to her Instagram stories where she scrolled through some negative comments from followers and even read some out loud.
“Wait. So you literally just had her and you’re more worried about clubbing with Drake? Wow,” she read, before moving onto the next comment, “Mother of the year award right here! As if you seriously could leave your baby to go party? I hope the child’s aid looks into this and your abilities to be a good parent cause d**n! Lacking some serious skills there sweety! #selfish.”
“Wait. So you literally just had her and you’re more worried about clubbing with Drake?
Shay clapped back, saying, “I haven’t been really checking my comments that often, but apparently people are really upset that I left three days after having a kid to go out and party. It wasn’t three days and she was with [my dog] Angel, so…” she joked.
Shay later added, “Days? Lol honey, just because I posted on that day doesn’t mean she was born on that day,” in reference to those saying she left her baby just days after giving birth.
You tell ’em, Shay!
This woman just had a whole friggin baby, she can go have fun for a few hours if she wants!
