Over the past few months, Selma Blair has been very open with her fans about her MS diagnosis.
She made her first red carpet appearance while rocking a cane , and has been educating people on her day-to-day struggles and wins ever since!
In February, Selma gave her first interview since being diagnosed with MS.
For those who don’t know, MS is an incurable, chronic disease that attacks healthy tissue in the central nervous system.
Selma has maintained strength in times of struggle.
“I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS.”
“But we are doing it,” she joked.
“And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best,” she said .
Of course, having MS doesn’t stop you from going out and living your best life.
And that’s what Selma has been telling her fans since day one.
She recently made a trip to Disneyland with bestie, Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Sarah actually took Selma to Disneyland for the first time, 21 years ago! Friendship goals much?

And Selma knows how to rock a baseball cap.
I’ll admit that I had no idea these two were friends until recently, but I’m digging this friendship.
Selma posted a photo that someone else had captured of the two.
Sarah was pushing Selma in a wheelchair, which might be a surprise to those who don’t fully understand MS.
Note: Selma has since deleted the photo off her personal Instagram account.

But Selma assured fans that she can still walk — she just happened to have a “busted tailbone” and walking all day uses up a lot of her energy.
Anyone who has spent the day walking around to Disneyland can attest to how tiring it really is.
She also gave a shout out to her friends Jamie King and Reese Witherspoon, who have had her back recently.
Ultimately, she didn’t want fans to worry or the media to start spreading false rumors.
“I did not know this pic was being taken. I saw it on someone’s feed,” she explained.
“And there is no shame in using whatever you can to get around. So I am just controlling the narrative. I am not one foot in the grave,” she wrote.
It seems like nothing is stopping Selma. Here she is posing for a pic on an airplane.
“Goodnight fellow travelers,” she wrote.
She even posted this video on *hot* makeup tips for when your mobility is limited!
