As we know by now, the wildfires in Australia have claimed the lives of 28 people, countless animals and millions hectares.
Many celebrities have raised awareness and donated money to the relief efforts, including Australian actors Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman.
Russell shared photos of his home a few months ago when the fires began.
“My heart goes out to everyone in the valley,” he wrote back in November.
He continued to post updates on his home.
Thankfully none of his livestock had perished.
This side-by-side created a visual for his followers who had never experienced a bushfire before.
In the weeks that have followed, Russeell’s been keeping his followers updated on his property.
He’s skipped award shows to tend to his country’s disaster.
Here’s a photo of the trees “bouncing back” as he put it:
Mother Nature is so amazing!
In the most dramatic series of pics, Russell shared this comparison shot of his land before and after some much needed rain.
The pics show a 10-week difference!
People have been so happy to see Russell’s post.
“Oh my God, the difference! It must be wonderful for just a moment to look and take a breath and unscrunch your spine. Welcome back, beautiful home. I hope you were able to protect all your people and your animals, wild and domestic. Thanks for showing this,” wrote one fan.
It’s a small bit of optimism out of a seemingly hopeless situation.
It’s such a dramatic difference!
“It’s ABSOLUTELY miraculously beautiful,” wrote another.
We hope this is a sign of more peace to come for Australia!
