Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96 on September 8th, people have been reminiscing about her impact.
For anyone who knows basically anything about the Royal Family , the fact that Queen Elizabeth was widely known to be funny isn’t really a surprise. She had a quick wit and was often seen giggling and laughing with her family at events. People are now discussing one more well-hidden aspect of her sense of humor as revealed by one of her personal aides.

Former aide Angela Kelly once described the Queen’s “wicked sense of humor.”
Kelly however revealed that Her Majesty had a hidden talent when it came to comedy that not many people got to see — and it was her ability to do accents.
Kelly, from Liverpool, described The Queen as a “great mimic,” and explained “she can do all accents – including mine.”
Kelly isn’t the only one who’s opened up about Her Majesty’s love of accents.
“She has a great sense of humor and a guttural laugh,” revealed Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell. “When she travels through the country she loves to hear regional accents.”
Burrell at the time even listed some of the many British regional accents Her Majesty would mimic, saying “She loves to hear a Scouse accent or a Birmingham accent or a Welsh accent or a Scottish accent.”
Burrell emphasized that Her Majesty could do “a great Scouse accent.”
We all loved when we would get to see a bit of Queen Elizabeth’s sense of humor shine through, and I am glad to hear that there was even more of it behind closed doors.
