Like, we’re not guaranteeing that this will spark creativity . In fact, you’ll probably feel a little less creative in light of all these creative people making you look bad. But it’s good to know that creativity can pay off in the end.

“Turned my TV into a Nintendo Switch.”
This is a cool project, but it’s only worth anything if you can disconnect those massive Joy-Cons and use them as controllers.
“I made a watermelon boat!”
This guy states that he made a watermelon boat, but he leaves out the crucial details behind why he made a watermelon boat.
“There, you can open the door again.”
It might not be pretty, but a handle’s a handle, whether it’s tasteful brass or just a chunk of a milk bottle.
“Imagine being a car manufacturer, spending millions of dollars and thousands of hours in designing and developing a car, just for the buyer to pull up in this.”
This looks incredibly precarious. I’m impressed that such a small wheel is able to handle the car’s weight. Definitely a temporary fix though, whether it was intended to be or not.
“I’m sure that’ll hold.”
You know how duct tape can do pretty much anything? Well, clear packing tape can do virtually nothing, and yet it’s still holding this car together.
“I went to the bathroom at a work party and found this.”
It isn’t like this is ugly or anything, I just don’t understand why anyone would think to design it. Does anybody really need such a jazzy toilet seat?
“Nothing better than 4th of July dinner with the old forklift as the table.”
If you’ve ever gone to a cookout and thought “this event needs more forklift,” have I ever got the solution for you.
“I think it’s an old truck turned into a boat.”
I’d have to follow this contraption. I want to know if this truck-boat (troat? bruck?) can actually handle the waves.
“1 Paddleboard + 1 beach chair + 2 bungee cords + a lil’ MacGyver magic = a sit & chill open air kayak.”
This looks incredibly idyllic. I’d love to take it for a spin, but I know I’d fall off immediately.

I see a few tripping hazards, and, more worryingly, electrocution hazards. But I guess when you want AC, any fix will do.
“Mom wanted a hood but a pro to install it. Dad said its an insult to him because he’s an engineer, he’ll do it himself.”
This is a real test of the “If it looks stupid but it works, it isn’t stupid” principle.
“Extra large shareable fries dish.”
This is a cool idea, but it’s predicated on the notion that anyone actually wants to share their fries.
“Using an old Buick as a trailer to transport a fridge.”
That Buick looks like it’s just barely holding together, but I guess the important thing is whether or not it can get the fridge to its destination.
“Dumptruck keeps yeeting himself off balcony. Owner takes proper precautions.”
Cats seem like such ingenious little wizards that it’s easy to lose sight of how simple it is to foil their plans.
“When you want a little more airflow for your truck.”
There’s nothing like a convertible if you want to feel the wind in your hair. And really, any car is a convertible if you can just saw the top off.
“Not mine, but how cool is this!”
This looks like such a fun time that you could almost forget that you’re sitting in the driver’s seat, playing N64 when you should be actively driving your car.

I’ve looked at this pic for a good couple of minutes now, and I still don’t understand how the umbrella is staying upright. Maybe I don’t want to know.

Eventually you get to a point where you’ve played enough video games and just want to experience their crazy weapons in real life.

That’s actually a fine-looking spoon, especially considering how it was rigged together. I give it a ten out of ten: would use it to eat something.
“When you need a rubber mallet but you only got a regular hammer and rubber door bumpers.”
This is a clever alternative to buying a rubber mallet. Once you’re done, you can just take off the rubber bumper and it’s a hammer again.
