As if Jennifer Garner couldn’t get any more hilariously relatable, she just wore a bathrobe to her daughter’s bus stop!
Parenting. Goals.
Jennifer Garner definitely isn’t a regular mom.
If you’re a Mean Girls fan, then you know what comes next:
SHE’S A COOL MOM.
Just ask any of her kids: Seraphina, 10, Violet, 13, and Samuel, 7½, all of whom she shares with ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
Or take a scroll through her Instagram page.
It’s just post after post of hilarious/relatable/just generally awesome content that kinda makes us wish that Garner was our mom…
For instance, the time she proved that she was cooler than her seven-year-old son.
“Well, guess what. It turns out 7 is the age my kid stops thinking it’s cool when I dress up for the party. #youngestchild #firsteyeroll #anyoneneedanAstrid,” she captioned the hilarious pic.
Or when she shared the positive messages she shares with her kids to help them believe in themselves.
“I put this up at home for my kids but they keep saying it back to ME! #incaseyoufindithelpful,” she captioned the sweet pic.
She’s a proud mom who will wear what her kids make, no matter what.
Sure, she may not have made “best-dressed” in the magazines that week, but she’ll always win “best mom” in her kids’ hearts.
Jen may take a fun approach to parenting, but she knows when to put her foot down, too.
For instance, the Peppermint star recently told Katie Couric that she’s forbidden her eldest daughter, Violet, from joining Instagram.
“Without even having parents who are well-known, I worry about all kids having to deal with this new pressure,” she said on Katie’s podcast, “Next Question with Katie Couric.”
“My daughter’s at an all-girl school, and it’s such a huge problem.”
“She’ll occasionally talk to me about getting Instagram, and I can see why because I’m on there and it’s something kind of fun that I do, and I am modeling the opposite of what I want for her to do,” she said. “How often is that in parenting?”
At the end of the day, her daughter’s mental health is her top priority.
While Violet is allowed to look at Instagram on her mom’s account, she won’t be getting her own until she has proof that says the app won’t be damaging to her self-esteem.
“When you can show me studies that say that teenage girls are happier using Instagram than not, then we can have the conversation.”
Wise parenting, Jen!
On top of being a wise AND cool mom, she’s an efficient one, too!
The actress recently proved that she will do whatever it takes to get her kids to the bus stop on time.
Even if it means arriving there in her bathrobe and with her hair soaking wet!
This hilariousness was recently shared on Instagram by the star herself.
“She barely made the bus on time, but at least her mother kept it classy,” she captioned the epic pic.
Since hectic mornings is something parents can definitely relate to, comments of praise soon came pouring in.
“Imagine dropping your kid off to the bus and Jennifer Gardner is just chilling – what an icon,” someone else said.
Others commented on how well Jen rocked a bathrobe and wet hair.
“Omg we as Moms are such miracle workers Lol You look marvellous,” said another.
Even celeb pals got involved with their supportive two-cents.
“Just reason 1000x why I love you,” wrote celebrity health coach, Kelly LeVeque.
We’re calling it now: Jen for Mom of the Year!
