When Samantha Clark and Christina Arthur reached a milestone in their friendship, they decided to mark it with a photoshoot that truly represented them.
People have photoshoots for engagement and maternity photos, so why not have one for a long-lasting friendship?
The two women, who have been best friends since 1997, designed their own BFF photoshoot.
The photos were completed with balloons, a letter board, beer, and chicken wings. Cheers!
If you can believe it, Samantha and Christina first met in kindergarten.
“It all started at Kindergarten graduation. Samantha stole my number for our graduation jingle, and I then proceeded to cry. We’ve been best friends ever since!” Christina said in a Facebook post.
They also grew up next door to each other.
They literally grew up together and supported each other during life’s challenging moments.
The two women have been by each others’ sides during the most important days of their lives.
“From riding our bikes through the neighborhood, to staying up all night during our many sleepovers in our homemade tents, and all the way down to us learning to drive and both having babies, we’ve been with each other through it all!,” Christina said.
This photo shoot is an important reminder of all they’ve been through together.
“We’ve seen each other at our highest and we’ve seen each other at our lowest. Through thick and thin, we have been able to count on each other,” Christina said.
It was also a chance for them to shotgun some beers and let loose.
FYI, it was Samantha’s first time shotgunning a beer. What a champ!
They also didn’t pass up an opportunity to break out the silly string.
It looks like they had an awesome time.
