Today’s global climate has been extremely scary for many people. With the coronavirus still on the rise, many people are trying to take safety measures to prevent the spread of the virus. Many businesses remain closed, schools are not having in-person sessions, and people are wearing masks and gloves outside of their homes. The biggest change is that many people are trying to maintain social distancing while they’re out in public.
Many countries are mandating that people socially distance from each other while outside their home.
With the curve still fluctuating in many countries, governments are trying to mandate social distancing to keep people away from each other at all times. The further away people are from each other, the less likely germs will spread.

Many businesses are mandating this, too.
Restaurants with outdoor dining have tables that are six-feet apart, while other stores are laying down markers and lines to keep people separated while shopping or waiting outside at the bank.
Many people, however, don’t necessarily agree with all of the regulations that come with social distancing.
Sometimes, businesses can go a bit over the top with how much they want people to remain “socially distanced.” While trying to stop the spread of the virus is important, there are some situations where the policies can’t work perfectly.
One mom recently opened up about being asked to leave her baby “outside” a business due to COVID-19 regulations.
U.K.-based mom Mandy Jones was taking a quick trip to the post office with her sleeping baby when they told her that she had to leave her baby outside if she wanted to come in.
Her son, Liam, is only seven-months-old.
The post office staff in Tupsley, Hereford, told her that seven-month-old Liam had to stay outside in his stroller if she needed to go into the post office at all.
The 39-year-old mother was furious.
“I just stepped inside the door when a lady told me there was no babies or children allowed. I’m sure children run around sometimes so that’s understandable but my baby was in a pushchair asleep anyway,” she told Mirror.co.
The mom said they treated her son, “like a dog.”
“I was told I could leave my baby outside. I’m not leaving my baby outside he’s not a dog, I’m not not going to tie him up outside,” she said.
The mom also raised the question of liability.
The mother also said that it leaves liability up in the air.
“What if somebody took him, whose fault would it have been then? Would it have been my fault for leaving my baby there? Or their fault as the assistant said they would keep an eye on him?” she asked.
After the mother spoke out, the post office reassessed their policies on social distancing.
Now, the post office is allowing children and babies to come inside with their parents during the COVID-19 social distancing regulations. At least, at the end of this, the mom’s outrage brought some much-needed change.
