When you think about it, moms really are warriors.
Carrying and growing a baby, giving birth to it, breastfeeding — none of these things are easy on their own, but moms do it all and usually, with little to no sleep.
One mom is celebrating how badass moms truly are with a raw photo of herself taken shortly after she gave birth.
Her positive outlook on motherhood and her body is inspiring other moms out there to embrace their inner badasses.
Jayme Pierce is the busy mom of six children and a parenting and lifestyle Instagram influencer.
Jayme shares cute but honest updates about her family’s life on Instagram. While some of her posts seem “Instagram-perfect”, she isn’t afraid to show the messy side of parenting, too.
For instance, have you ever tried to shop with six kids at Costco?
I loooooove Costco, but I find that place can be difficult to navigate by yourself, let alone with six kids. Hopefully, Jayme knows to distract them with free samples.
She and her husband, Billy, also have a great sense of humor.

Billy recreated this breastfeeding photo, and honestly, I think this should be a requirement of all dads. LOL!
When Jayme was expecting her sixth child, a baby boy named Brody, she posted this bump update at 37 weeks.
This photo was taken roughly two weeks before she gave birth back in the summer of 2018.
Jayme followed that photo up with a similarly staged one, except instead of showing her baby bump she flaunted her postpartum body.
Jayme recently reshared this photo and reflected on her decision to take it in the first place.
Along with the raw, post-birth photo, Jayme shared an empowering message about postpartum bodies.
“Whenever I doubt myself or feel bad about my postpartum body, I can look at these pictures and remind myself how badass I am,” she said.
I stan a badass mom! This is an incredible photo and message.
Many people are applauding Jayme for sharing this pic.

Not many moms would be willing to model their postpartum mesh undies and belly, but Jayme is all about keeping it real and celebrating moms’ bodies.
Many people agreed with Jayme’s badass take on postpartum life.

Moms are strong enough to grow a baby, bring it into the world, and care for it 24/7 once its born. If that isn’t badass, I don’t know what is.
Thanks for sharing this real and beautiful photo, Jayme!
