Giving birth is a very intimate experience that many people only share with their partner or their family. Not many women want to have complete strangers in the room when they are exposed and totally naked — not to mention with body fluids all over the place.
Many couples like to share photos of their newborn with friends and family.

With smartphones and social media, it’s easy to share a quick photo with friends and family letting them know that everyone is healthy and safe.
However, sometimes, we’re so excited to share the news we don’t look at the photo fully.

Some people are so excited to share the news of their newborn with family and friends that they don’t look at the photo fully before they send it.
Think about all of the “things” going on.
If you think about it, a lot is going on in the birth and delivery room once the baby is born. There’s a lot of things all out in the open and exposed.
New parents are pretty busy thinking about other things.

Parents are focused on their newborn baby, not so much the “things” that are out there for the world to see, so when they share photos, they don’t always check the image.
One mom recently shared her experience on TikTok.

TikTok user Wendy Freed shared a hilarious video in which she shared her husband’s little mistake that totally embarrassed her.
Freed said her husband shared a photo after their son was born “without cropping it.”

One can only begin to imagine how bad this photo could have been if he didn’t “crop out” what he needed to crop out.
Freed even shared the photo, too!

Clearly, that emoji is covering her entire nether region, which her family had a complete view of at the time. Thanks, hubby!
Some people were shocked!

Some TikTok users were anticipating a picture where the mom looked bad or a bit off after labor, but definitely did not expect all of THAT!
As it turns out, many women have gone through this situation, too.

Women on TikTok began sharing their own stories in the comments, like this one woman whose husband shared a photo taken during her C-section where her organs were basically visible.
Apparently, this mom was broadcasting.

One mom said her MIL FaceTimed everyone “without her permission” and everyone got to see a first-hand glance of her “hoo-ha.” Yikes!
One person put it on social media!

This mom ended up realizing later that her private areas were now all over social media in a profile picture. Truly a nightmare mistake.
This mom was scarred for life.

You know how iPhones can do “live” photos? This mom got her whole stitching process shared with family due to that. Yikes!
And, this one definitely takes the cake.

One MIL took some pictures without cropping them and then had them developed at Walmart! Oh my goodness, could you imagine?!?
On the bright side, some women are now prepared.

Some users said that the stories from women online are now giving them a “new fear.” But, I’m sure they will double-check the photos before sharing them in the future!
