Get ready to do some major face-palming.
Kylie Jenner may have used her platform to raise awareness about the animals killed in the Australia fires, but it was what she posted afterwards that truly missed the mark…
The Kardashians have been catching a lot of flack lately for their posts — or lack thereof — about the tragic Australia wildfires.

The first to be hit with controversy was Kim and Khloé.
It all started when someone had some pretty harsh words for the Kardashian-Jenner family in a since-deleted tweet.
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires [and] not donate even a penny,” they wrote.
Kim saw the tweet and didn’t like what the user had to say.
The reality star, mom, and beauty mogul ended up firing back with a savage tweet.
Khloé then had her sister’s back by retweeting Kim’s response, along with sharing a quote from the Bible:

“Therefore when you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward,” it read.
The mom of one also shared a message written all her own to the critics:
“Good deeds should be done with intention and not for attention. We are all blessed to be able to bless others even if it is in the slightest way. But we do not need to be boastful about that. Be boastful in regards to teaching others how they may be able to help as well,” she wrote in another tweet.
Despite good intentions, her tweets still ruffled feathers with some fans.
“Then tweet some links to your charity Khloe,” another wrote.
Now, the latest Kardashian-Jenner to find themselves at the center of controversy over the Australia fires is Kylie.

It all started when Kylie reposted an Instagram Story from big sister Kim about how half a billion animals have died in the Australian fires.
Her caption read: “this breaks my heart.”

If she had left things there, all would be fine and dandy.
However, Kylie went forward and posted what she did next…
Y’all, not even 13 hours later, Kylie posted an image of her “baby pink toes” in MINK SLIPPERS.

These aren’t just cheap run-of-the-mill Mink slippers, either. They’re brand-name, $1,500 mink Louis Vuitton slippers!
Oh, the irony, Kylie.
It hurts; it just really hurts.
Naturally, the move has left people on social media majorly upset.
Since her second post, they’ve been calling out her “hypocrisy” left and right.
“So sad the she would purchase these,” wrote another.
Like we said, THEY PISSED.
Since Kylie is a billionaire who can afford brand-name items, it’s obvious that she’s not sporting faux fur.
WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU, KYLIE.
Others couldn’t help but not even be surprised by Kylie’s actions:
“Disappointing, but not surprising, no,” another wrote.
It’s really hard to say how Kylie is going to crawl her way out of this one…
What do you think about Kylie’s post? Was it majorly tone-deaf?
