After all, they’ve been together for a long time.
They’ve got history, y’all.
Here’s a quick recap of their love timeline: they started dating in 2007, got engaged in 2010, but didn’t actually wed until 2013.
The reason for the delay is a really sweet one; they weren’t going to get married until same-sex marriage was legal in California!
When it comes to making marriage work, laughter, among other things, is a major key.

The celeb couple are the proud parents to their two kids, Delta, 4, and Lincoln, 6.
One major rule they make their kids follow is treating one another with respect.
“We have very strict rules in our family about how we treat people with respect, especially our family members,” Bell once said .
“We are going to be with each other in the long haul, so it’s important to always be respectful and treat your sister the way you want to be treated.”
Another parenting hack they use is to only celebrate birthdays when both of them are free.
“If it’s, like, a Wednesday and we can’t celebrate and we’re both working late, then — guess what — your birthday is on a Saturday,” said Kristen.
Speaking of celebrating major events on different days, the pair recently revealed that they celebrated their six-year anniversary a week late…
Nope, it wasn’t because of their schedules this time.
As it turns out, they forgot their anniversary this year!
Kristen took to Instagram to share the surprising news.
She wrote: “We were reminded by family and friends that at some point last week, it was our 5 year wedding anniversary.”
“In truth, neither of us remember which day. Thats because we have been living the celebration of our commitment every moment since.”
Awwwww.
She continued: “I find when you are living with gratitude each moment, the dates become irrelevant.”
“To get to wake up next to someone who has put hard work, respectful fights, patience, understanding and gratitude into your relationship is the definition of love.”
So presh!
She finished off the sweet AF caption by writing:
“I will never remember the date of our anniversary @daxshepard, and i know you wont either. And thats just one more thing i love about us.”
Shortly after, the supportive comments came rolling in.
They gave props to the couple for always keeping it real.
“Happy anniversary you to lovebirds,” wrote Josh Gad, Kristen’s Frozen castmate.
A fan even reminded the actress that it was actually *six* years since her and Dax first wed, not five.
“hahahah oops, your right it was 6yrs!!!!!” Kristen responded back.
Some even admitted to forgetting their own anniversaries, too.
“Husband and I are the same way. It’s been over ten years and we just celebrate each day of each year. The date we got married is not important, it’s the time we’ve put in,” someone else wrote.
In this second anniversary-themed post, Kristen posted this photo of them kissing while their dog watched.
“Here’s the morning we both got texts from grandma saying ‘happy anniversary!’” Bell wrote.
“We were both on our way out the door but stopped for a quick hot and heavy make out sesh while Frank stood close like a creeper.”
