Kourtney Kardashian is often referred to as everyone’s favorite Kardashian . Well, I’m not sure if that’s true for everyone but I feel like all of my friends always enjoyed watching Kourtney over the other Jenner/Dash dolls. She just seemed more real and honest — like someone you could share a cold-pressed organic green juice with.
Well, as it turns out, Kourt is a pretty big fan of herself too, which is why she identifies as an Autosexual.
In case you missed the memo, Kourtney Kardashian has hitched a ride on the celebrity lifestyle blog craze.
Her website, Poosh, is all about helping women embrace their power and get the most out of life.
Oh, and selling really expensive things.
This, like most things in my life, I blame this trend one person and one person only — Ms. Gwyneth Paltrow.

Not only are many of the “health” trends she supports actually dangerous AF, but she’s made it normal for celebs to try to make even more money off us.
And if you’re wondering if I’m going to be talking about Gwenyth’s infamous v****a candle again, NO I’M NOT!
But seriously , can you believe it’s still selling out and retails for a whopping $99? I will never get over what a crazy time that was.
Anyway, back to Kourtney and Poosh.

This lifestyle blog has brought us lots of interesting information over the past few years, but Kourtney being an autosexual is certainly the most interesting.
In fact, the article shared on Poosh indicates that most of us are autosexual.
S*x therapist Casey Tanner explained that being autosexual is “a trait wherein one is turned on by engaging in their own eroticism.”
“Like most human characteristics, autosexuality is a spectrum—and the majority of us are on it!” she explained.
“Some may identify as exclusively autosexual, in which case they might consider autosexuality their sexual orientation.”

“Most people, however, incorporate autosexuality into a larger sexual repertoire that also includes being turned on by partnered s*x.”
Ahhhhhhh, I see.
“Many folks resist autosexuality, fearing that it’s narcissistic or might detract from partnered s*x. In reality, autosexuality can be a healthy, even valuable part of your s*x life,” Casey adds.
This makes a lot of sense, actually. In the words of RuPaul — ” if you can’t love yourself, how in the h**l are you gonna love somebody else ?”
Practicing and honoring your own autosexuality can be as easy as wearing lingerie and getting dolled up, even if your partner doesn’t notice or care.

It’s all about making sure you’re feeling yourself before you worry about someone else, and honestly, what’s not to love about that?
