Sometimes it can be fun to hop on the old nostalgia train and take a ride to what once was. Even more so when you’re a Kardashian !
Over the years, a lot has changed in Kim’s life.

As you can see, Kim has always made sure to put an emphasis on storage space.
Her closet from 13 years ago is literally twice the size of my bedroom today.
And this is what her closet looks like today.
As you can see, Kim has made a few improvements in terms of square footage.
Her ‘closet’ looks more like the showroom at Bloomingdale’s nowadays.
Who could forget Kim’s humble fridge? All things considered, it was pretty ‘normal’ looking.
Aside from the blatant product placement, of course.
I mean honestly: who stocks up on both Vitamin Water and Gatorade?
Not so much these days however. Just look at that thing!
I’ve heard of a walk-in closet but a walk-in fridge?!
It looks like Kim has the entire produce section from her local grocery store!
Kim’s kitchen back then was pretty quaint.
In the grand scheme of things, Kim’s kitchen didn’t appear out of the ordinary.
It even felt kind of homie and comfortable. You know – for a Kardashian I mean.
It goes without saying; that is no longer the case.
Kim’s kitchen looks like it was designed to feed the entire crew aboard the Starship Enterprise.
Does she have an entire kitchen brigade on hand too?
Look at how different Kim’s living room looked back then.
Talk about a cozy ode to ’90s home decor!
Kim’s old living room kind of looks like my grandmother’s. Look at how red that couch is!
Needless to say, she’s adopted a much more minimalist approach to her furnishings.
I wonder if that’s the piano that Kanye wrote ‘Runaways’ on?
And what exactly is going on with all the Truffula trees?
Back then, Kim’s bedroom had a very memorable addition.
During the late ’90s and early ’00s, Stripper Aerobics was the Yoga of its time.
I guess we all have Carmen Electra to thank for that.
However, these days her bedroom is noticeably missing 1 stripper pole.
However, she and husband Kanye West do have a TV hidden in the floor.
So I suppose it’s a good trade-off.
Kim’s old backyard looked like the perfect place for a family BBQ.
Just look at that massive cabana in the distance!
Kim’s pool house is bigger than some people’s apartments.
The new design, while aesthetically appealing, is less inviting.
Can you believe that Kim has a pool this beautiful and she claims to never have swum in it once?
How is that even possible?!
Normally, hallways are functional as opposed to fashionable.
Once again, Kim’s decor style is heavily laden with ’90’s influence. Just take a look at that Victorian bench over in the corner.
Doesn’t it just scream “grandma’s house!”?
That is no longer the case nowadays.
I don’t know about you, but this is exactly the type of hallway that would terrify me in the night.
Imagine having to wake up and walk through those archways to get a glass of water?
