Since becoming a mother of two, Keira Knightley thinks it’s time to hang up her on-screen birthday suit for good!
She recently admitted in an interview with The Financial Times , that from now on, she prefers to remain clothed in all of her films going forward.

Hollywood star, Keira Knightley — who has hardly ever been the type to show a scandalous amount of skin to begin with — has recently revealed that her nude scene days are officially behind her.
She opened up in an interview with The Financial Times about her decision.
The 34-year-old actress hasn’t had a career riddled with nude scenes thus far. However, she has previously gone topless for movies like “The Edge Of Love” and “The Duchess”.
But 12 years and two children later have changed Keira’s perspective a bit.
Keria isn’t the only actress who’s over nude-scenes.
Emilia Clarke revealed on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert , back in November, that she was actually pressured to do nude scenes in an effort to not let Game of Thrones fans down.
“It was a “[expletive] ton of nudity,” she said. “I took the job and then they sent me the scripts and I was reading them, and I was, like, ‘Oh, there’s the catch!’”
“But I’d come fresh from drama school, and I approached [it] as a job,” she explained . “If it’s in the script then it’s clearly needed, this is what this is and I’m gonna make sense of it… Everything’s gonna be cool.”
“But then going in and doing it… I’m floating through this first season and I have no idea what I’m doing, I have no idea what any of this is.”
“I’ve never been on a film set like this before, I’d been on a film set twice before then,” she recalled . “And I’m now on a film set completely naked with all of these people, and I don’t know what I’m meant to do”.
“I don’t know what’s expected of me, and I don’t know what you want and I don’t know what I want.”
“I’m gonna cry in the bathroom and then I’m gonna come back and we’re gonna do the scene and it’s gonna be completely fine.”
She revealed that it was her co-star at the time, Jason Momoa, who made the experience easier for her.
“Which is why the scenes, when I got to do them with Jason, were wonderful,” she said . “Because he was like, ‘No, sweetie, this isn’t okay.’ And I was like, ‘Ohhhh.’”
Emilia revealed that it was a learning curve for her, but now she is more aware of her limits. “I’m a lot more savvy [now] with what I’m comfortable with, and what I am okay with doing,” she said.
I’ve had fights onset before where I’m like , ‘No, the sheet stays up.'”
Anyways, nowadays, Keira Knightley has indefinitely added a no-nudity clause to her contract, and opts for body-doubles instead.
“That was a choice,” she said . “I get to choose the body double”.
“It is an interesting selection process!”
“It kind of goes like, ‘That’s a little bit like you, but better. She has a lovely body, so she can do this.’… then I get final approval of what the edit is.”
“I have been comfortable earlier with more nudity than I am now,” she said.
“I have had a kid, I am in my thirties, I am very happy with my body .”
“But I don’t feel I need to get it out that much any more,” she added. “The nipples droop”.
She explained that she would prefer not to have her nude scenes used as pornography.
“It used to be that you’d do a sex scene in isolation with the film, and it would make sense.”
“And maybe a crappy paper would put it somewhere,” she continued .
But as technology advances more and more, it has become alarmingly easy for people to isolate sex scenes from movies and repurpose them on adult websites.
Better safe than sorry, amirite?!
“But, ultimately, that would be it.”
“But now, you can take the whole thing and put it in a completely different thing, and it’s on some porn site,” she said .
