Jeffrey Dean Morgan has become a powerhouse in recent years all thanks to a little show called The Walking Dead .
Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays Negan, a sociopathic man who takes pleasure in killing and being awful to people.
But now, the show is trying to redeem him.
But we’re not here to talk about redeeming Negan. We’re here to talk about getting to see who he was before the apocalypse.
We’ve heard his side of the story (he cheated on his wife who was dying of cancer), but we have never seen it.
But JDM really wants a prequel film to explore his past.
So what does Morgan want from these films? Well, we don’t know much yet.
“I have my own thing for POSSIBLE films,” Morgan said on Twitter . “I’m still holding out for negan story… based on @RobertKirkman graphic novel. Id LOVE to film that. LOVE LOVE LOVE.”
Back in 2018, Morgan mentioned it to ComicBook.com.
He said that a possible prequel movie “could be an exciting opportunity to tell that story.”
A comic book story does exist but the show has been known to change a few storylines here and there.
